. GreenTree - The Big City .

Getting To Know The City
Ok, GreenTree itself is the largest city in the game. It's a 3x2 town (once you get in, duh!). When you first enter the city by the east entrance, you'll find Ma's Boarding House, which is the Hotel. It's $50 to get across the counter, and once on the second floor you are immune to attacks just like the Treehouse. If you were to go north, it's a dead end, but you'll find a church (where you can get healed from VD for $100 x Your Level), the Commoner's House and Barak's House. If you go west to the center of the town, there's the scribe (to make announcement in the Daily News for $10) and the weapon shop. North of that would be the fabled Training Center, as well as the armor shop. More west you'll find the bank (in which you need at leat $50 as a first deposit to open an account) and the Red Dragon Inn. North of that is the Healing Center, as well as a stone that gives one random hint, once a day. Now, you got that?

Where To Start?
First go to the Commoner's House (gray house, northeast part of the city). In the sink, in the washroom, you'll find a Travel Pass. Just in case an idiot would want to leave it there, it won't ask: you'll automatically take it. Now get out, go south once, west once, and north once. Go to the Training Center and talk to the new Master Trainer. You'll find out Barak has become the new Trainer, and has kicked everyone else out. If you fallowed this right so far, you should have at least 100 XP, which is enough to train to the next level. Who cares about getting better weapon or armor, the creature you'll be fighting will have random status accordingly to your own strenght. Other than being a loser, if you fail you'll only have 1 HP left. If you run you'll have whatever was left. If you succeed you'll be healed. If you are a loser, you'll have to wait a full day before trying again. If while in Stonebrook you came across a lost girl, bring her back to her mother which is once south, once west, and in the Red Dragon Inn.

Ma's Daughter
Start by raising a few levels. Fight right east of [GreenTree], at the [Tree Elf Highway]. Go up and down along the right border of the screen, and kill a few elves to gain XP. As soon as you have lost more than half you HP, don't be pigheaded and get back to the city through the west entrance and straight to the Healer, then get back out there. As soon as you're ready for your next level, get trained to make it easier (and to last longer before running to the healer). After a few levels and at least $50, go to Ma's Boarding House. Pay the fee, and talk to her daughter Elle, on the second floor. The bitch got laid and is now pregnant. Get back downstairs and across the counter, and talk to Ma about it. She'll give you a letter as well as a mark on your World Map. Don't read the letter, you curious bastard. Get out of the city, travel south two kilometers then west one. Stop there a minute. There is a secret passage that goes from the upper-right spot of the clearing to the upper-right spot of the second clearing. From there, a secret passage on the left. You'll find a shepard talking about the Dark Forest, and a potion to raise your stats on the table. Get back east once, then south to the [Cabin]. Get in it, and be nice to the old geezer. Offer them to escort them to GreenTree and bring them to Ma. You'll get $2000 and +10 Quest Points for that. Go to Abduls Armour next to the Training Center and buy a Plate Mail. If you have at least $700 left, go south once to King Arthur's Weapons and get a Crystal Shard. If you don't have enough, don't waste cash on the rest, they are only worth have their value when sold back.

Clearing Turgon's Name
That quest done, you should have plenty of Quest Points. Now to help Turgon. Nothing's fishier than a bastard like Barak being the Master Trainer. Go the the northeast part of the city, and pick the lock of the middle house. That's his house. DON'T TALK to the old hag, she'll kick you out. Go straight to the chest and pick any of them. You actually have a chance out of four of finding Barak's Diary. You can only try this once a day, so if you fail fight and get XP and levels, enough to kick Neb's ass. Once you got it, read it. You'll find out he manipulated the city council to ruin Turgon. Travel all the way back tu Turgon's Shack (from [GreenTree, go east three kilometers, and south two to [Strange Cabin]). Beat up Neb on your way back to get your $50 back.. Go inside and show Barak's Diary to Turgon. After some storyline, you'll be a local hero and get +30 Quest Points!

Discovery the GreenTree Area
Now's the time to look around the land. Two kilometers north of [GreenTree], you'll find a Pawn shop. Get you old crap sold (old weapons, chicken eggs, armors, etc). From there, go three kilometers west to [The Shrine]. This is the Shrine of Babos. Each day that there is a special announcement in the Daily News about the shrine, you can go there to get a special gift once during that day. Then get back east by two kilometers, one south, and one back west to the [Broken path forest]. That ruin is actually for sale. There is nothing to it but a private team treasury. LORD II was made for the sole purpose of playing a multiplayer environment. Once you make pals and allies in the game, you can have your unofficial team. When you buy a domain of some sort, you may have no one else get in, or have a password that you give to those you trust. In each of them, you'll usually have a treasure chest, in which anyone who get inside the walls of the domain may deposit or withdraw money from. If you're getting cracked up ideas about fooling someone and stealing their money, note that the owner of the castle is made aware of all transaction in his domain's team treasury, as well as the people who attempted to get in with the wrong password. The owner is also the only one who has the liberty of changing the password, selling or transfering the deed to someone else or the bank. For now, leave Runion Keep for sale, you don't need it.

The Dark Forest
It's time to put some time to raise your level. A good place to train would be just south from Runion Keep, at the [Dark Forest Gate]. Encounters and random events are screenwise, so you don't need to be on a perticular side of the gate to fight. Gain XP, raise your levels, until the creatures become easy. Once they are, travel west once and south once to [The Dark Forest]. This is a dreamspot to gain XP for alot of level raise, as well as a place few player go to (if you don't make it to an inn by nightfall, stick there). There again, gain a few level until even Ghosts aren't damaging anymore. From then on, it's time to get some work done about the Dark Forest, preventing it from growing any further. In the middle of [The Dark Forest], there's a stone that you may reach through a secret passage bottom-left of the huge bush. Touching the stone, you'll be warped to [Tash's Lair]. This maze if fairly easy. Go to the left and be warped. Then the bottom and be warped. Don't run at Tash or you'll be warped again. Make your way all around the room from the left side and attack from the left. If you run, he'll send you to [PukeWorld]. From the exit point, you'll end up two kilometers west from Runion Keep. If you win, you'll get a Moonstone which will give you +500 turns per new day. Now move south one step to be warped back to the first room, and leave the hideout. Get the hell back to GreenTree train the XP you've gained.
