. Stonebrook - Getting Started .

Mommy's Pie
Ok, so you're just starting the game. Get your lazy ass off your bed. Look at the place you are in, [Mother's House], 'cause everytime you get your ass kicked, you'll end up right back here. In your mother's room, there's $5 on the table. Steal it, she doesn't give a crap. Go talk to your mother. She'll ask you if you can get some berries. Leave the house. You're in [East Stonebrook Village]. Keep your cash, there's a berry bush east in that screen. Get back home and give her the berries. She'll ask for some milk. Though tempting, DON'T strangle her. If you're going with this walkthrough, you'll have to be a nice puppy until you've won the game once. Go back outside and travel west to [Stonebrook] and enter the town. Go straight to the grocery store and buy two jars of milk. That's right, two. You'll be needing the second one later on. On your way back home, pick up some more berries, and equip'em as a weapon. It's a fagget weapon, but you start the game out as a fagget. Give the milk to your mother and you'll get the Berry Pie. Don't eat it you moron, keep it.

Meetting The Town Folks
Get your ass outsite. Get in every house. Yeah, killed that fucking chihuahua, it's easy XP (that's Experience Points for the twits that don't know it) to begin with. Go north to [Northeast Stonebrook Village]. There's a friend of yours in the big house, but like the other freaks from the town, he's just there to get you into the game. West to [Village Forest], you'll find a forest with a treehouse. They want a password or they won't let you in. If you've got enemies that got there first and blocked your name, you won't get in even with the password. The password can be found if hit a flying bird with a rock (random event), though at Level 1, you have one chance out of two of missing (Level 2 and up, you get it right each times). If you ever go in that treehouse, you are immune to being attacked, up to a level determined by your SysOp. There's also a board where you can see what other before you wrote, and write shit that others after you will see.

Turgon's Shack
Get back to the screen where the town is situated. Don't go in. Just travel south two kilometers to [Strange Cabin]. Run from any fight you encounter (that's right, just like a sissy). Go straight to the cabin and talk to the old bastard. He's Turgon, former Master Trainer of the Training Center (found in GreenTree). Be nice to him, and don't laugh. When he doesn't want to talk anymore, give him the Berry Pie. He'll tell you about how he was kicked out of GreenTree. You'll have to resolve this later on. After you're done talking with him, you should go get the hidden chest. The secret passage is through the left wall. You'll find a Heavy Coat. PUT IT ON, GOD DAMN IT, didn't you notice you were nude since you've started the game, fucking exibitionist!

Money Making
To continue your progress, you'll need moolah. First out, get the fuck out of Turgon's Shack, travel one kilometer north, then one east to [Massive Tree] There's a secret way to the middle of that tree near the bottom-right of it. In the tree you'll find a chest. Dumb paranoid ass-hole, there's no trap in there, but you'll find $25! Get out. Travel two kilometers weat, then one south to [Greba's Field]. Disregard the sign, get in. So what if it's dark, wuss, just get in and go back and forth in the passage close to the entrance, until you have $160 to spare. If you found chicken eggs before, you can count them as $5 each. Keep some more to heal yourself if you got damaged. Go all the way back to town. Sell the chicken eggs if you have some to the Pawn Shop, and buy a World Map. Then, to Winthrog's Weapons and buy a Short Sword. Equip it, but don't eat the berries you fat slump.

"Where is Hector?"
Get out of the town. Travel one kilometer south, and one weat to [South Stonebrook] with a ruined witch house. Get in there. Talk to the ugly hag, she's making stew. Remember the second jar or milk you still have? Give it to her, as well as your berries. Taste her stew, you should get 5 extra hitpoints. Talk to her again and again until she's expecting you to have found a friend called Hector. Leave her dump. Travel north once to [Neb's Road]. Touch the purple tree. Yeah, amasing warping, whatever. North again to [Rocky Road], and enter Jack's Restaurant. You should still have at least $90 left. Take any of the four tables and sit on the right (as in not left) chair. Order a Gloworm, but don't bite it. The doggybag isn't invented yet, so shut up and shove it in your pocket. Get out of the restaurant, and travel three kilometers south back to the [Greba's Field] and get inside the cavern. Once in, bite into the worm. Don't leave you fool, or you'll have to get another Gloworm. Go through the maze, avoir the snakes, get the Ancient Flute from the right chest and the $35 from the left one (you should have at least $75 left now). Go to the bird nest and grab Hector. If you bring it back to the old hag, you'll gain +2 Strenght, but if you talk to it (through your items) and let him fly away, you'll make +20 Alignment and +2 Quest. If you decide to let him fly away (which I actually recommand), don't bother going back to the old hag's shack. And before leaving the cave, make sure you have at least 100 XP.

On Your Way Out
If you haven't got killed yet, that's good. If you did, you're a wuss. One way or another, you need $50 on you, to continue. I recommand buying a few (perhaps five) Green Potions, seeing they come out to the same price a healer would heal you for. Get back to [Neb's Road] (purple tree). Talk to Ned. If you try'n fight him, you're so sure to get your ass kicked. Take not that if for some rediculous reason you don't have enough, don't attempt to give him the little you've got, he'll keep it but won't let you pass anyway. He asks $50, so give it to him, You'll get them back when you come back to pop his crater face later on when you're stronger. He doesn't sell you anything, so if you return to Stonebrook, you'll have to pay him again to get back out. Now, travel once. You're on the [Tree Elf Highway]. Go to the western end on the screen. Try'n fight a few, and get healed as soon as needed with your Green Potion. As soon as you run out of those, don't take chances and leave west. You'll end up at [GreenTree]...
