Membership

I. VISION UNITY

  1. Although comprised of individual clans, Vision considers itself to be ONE unit. ONE Family. All clans in Vision are expected to work generously together, with and for each others' benefit. Separatism of the clans is highly frowned upon and actively discouraged.
  2. All clans in the Vision alliance will adopt the same crest, so as to promote a sense of unity and "oneness" across the alliance.

II. VISION LEADERSHIP & CHAIN OF COMMAND

  1. Gloriana is the leader of the Vision alliance.
  2. Gloriana has final say in ALL decisions that affect the alliance as a whole.
  3. When and if time permits, Gloriana will ask the opinions and advice of all Clan Leaders and/or Vice Clan Leaders before making major decisions that affect the alliance as a whole; however, if time, circumstances or other factors do not allow this, Gloriana has the right to make any and ALL decisions that affect the alliance as a whole without consulting anyone.
  4. All Vision members will speak respectfully to and about their Alliance Leader, their Clan Leaders and their Alliance mates. Rude, disrespectful words or attitudes by Vision members toward any other Vision members will never be tolerated.
  5. "Emergency", tense, problematic or critical types of situations are NOT the time to question leadership decisions, as clarity and trust in one's leader and a leader's trust in the members to obey is often crucial to taking immediate, effective action. In any and all "emergency" types of situations, if Gloriana (or, in her absence, another CL or VCL) gives an 'order' to the alliance as a whole or to an individual member, that 'order' is to be immediately obeyed without argument or question. If anyone disagrees with 'orders' given during these types of situations, the orders should nevertheless be followed and the matter may then be discussed AFTER the situation has been resolved.
  6. Problems should never be ignored or left to fester. Vision members should take any problems or matters of concern they may have regarding their clan or the Alliance in general to Gloriana to discuss any issues they may have, with the intent of resolving any problems to the happiness and satisfaction of all concerned.

III. VISION COMMUNICATION

  1. Immediately upon joining our alliance, all Vision members must join our forum at http://l2caelestis.proboards62.com using the name of their main character. They are expected to check the forum for issues of importance to the alliance and to respond to any important issues on a regular, daily basis.
  2. All members are required to use our Teamspeak server while in game. Speaking on TS is not necessary, but being able to listen on TS is a must.
  3. Using Clan chat in game is not allowed.To promote alliance unity and the feeling of "oneness", all Vision members are expected to use Ally chat in game at all times.
  4. All important announcements/instructions/discussions made in game by Alliance/Clan leadership will be made using CAPS LOCK in ally chat. ANYTHING typed by the leadership with caps lock on is to be considered IMPORTANT and is NOT to be considered as rude or as yelling. When caps lock is used by the leadership (or by leading members in important situations), all Vision members are expected to sit up, take notice and pay attention.
  5. Alliance meetings are held once a week on IRC. The meetings run one hour. All clan leaders and administration are expected to attend and all alliance members are welcome.

IV. VISION HONOUR IN GENERAL

  1. All members will obey all IDragon3D server rules .
  2. All Vision members are expected to always bear in mind the fact that they represent Vision to the rest of the server and their individual behaviour reflects on our alliance as a whole.
  3. All Vision members are expected to conduct themselves with honour. All members are expected to maintain our well deserved reputation for honour, integrity and respect by adhering to this Code of Conduct and any other unwritten rules or policies the leadership has set in place. Failure to follow this Code is grounds for immediate dismissal.
  4. All members are loyal to their Alliance leader, their Clan leader and their ally mates. To prevent divided loyalties, ALL members are forbidden to have alt chars in other alliances.
  5. All members should strive to be admired, respected and emulated. We do not want to be feared or despised. We are not rude or offensive. We do not ever beg, steal, or behave in a childish manner. We assist anyone in trouble and are kind and helpful toward new players.
  6. Vision members do not kill-steal, cheat, scam or craft for known PKs. If we accidentally KS, we apologize and move away.
  7. To avoid any potential for scamming, Vision members do not ask another ally member to borrow or to "see" the other member's equipment.

V. VISION POLITICS

  1. Vision is a not only a neutral alliance, but it is also a peaceful one. We strive for peaceful relationships with all others and maintain a neutral stance in all official and unoffical wars!
  2. In order to maintain our peaceful, neutral position, all members are forbidden to take part in any action which could threaten our peaceful, neutral stance or to support any alliances in a show of force or in outright war against any individual, clan or alliance with whom we ourselves as an alliance do not have a formal conflict . We presently do not have a formal conflict with any clan or alliance!
  3. In any situation where conflict is potential or imminent, Vision members always try to talk peace before resorting to aggressive tactics.

VI. VISION HONOUR IN PVP SITUATIONS

  1. Random Player Killing for no reason is absolutely forbidden.
  2. Vision members do not initiate unprovoked PKing, harassment or griefing of any kind.
  3. Simply put, if you are the type of player that enjoys PvP more than anything else and hangs out at known PvP spots, such as Forbidden Gateway, just waiting for someone to flag you to give you an opportunity to PvP, you do not belong in Vision.
  4. All members are permitted to defend themselves if attacked and are encouraged to call for any necessary assistance.
  5. All Vision members are expected to act in a dignified manner at all times, even in battle. Vision members never swear, taunt, name-call or resort to flaming, either in game or in any public forum.
  6. 1vs1 PvP that is mutually agreed upon beforehand (friendly PvP that is invited and wanted on both sides ) is completely acceptable. Please show good manners by declaring "GF" (Good Fight) afterward, whether you win or lose.

VII. VISION SEIGES

  1. The Vision alliance currently supports no alliance in the defense of any castle.
  2. At some future time, Vision plans to siege a castle for Caelestis.
  3. During any siege in which we partcipate, Vision members are expected to display honour and good sportsmanship on the siege grounds, and to refrain from flames or rude comments of any kind toward either the attacking or the defending forces.
  4. Vision members always !SHOUT congratulations for a Good Fight to the "enemy" after a siege is over, whether we win or lose the battle.

VIII. CAELESTIS CLANS MEMBERS' ACTIVITY & ABSENTEISM

  1. Activity & Absenteeism: Caelestis Clans strength is based on its acivity level. To ensure that we remain strong it is required that:
    1. All members play on a regular, preferably daily, basis.
    2. All members play one main character the majority of their time.
    3. All members who will be away from the game for periods exceeding two days must inform Gloriana of their upcoming absence in the appropriate section of the forum.
    4. Any member who is inactive for longer than two weeks without advance warning will be dismissed.
IX. CAELESTIS CLANS MEMBERS' TAXES
  1. Every Caelestis member is expected to deposit their weekly tax payment into their clan's warehouse every Monday. All payments should be noted in the appropriate section of our forum. The adena we collect in this manner is used to help equip our members and/or to benefit us in other ways. Currently our tax rate is set to 1kk for lvl 60+ members and 500k for 59- members.

X. CAELESTIS CLANS MEMBERS' MATS, DROPS & EQUIPMENT

  1. Basic mats, key parts, recipes and full drops are used to equip all our Caelestis Clans members in order of priority. Please understand that there are limited resources and, though we work to equip you as quickly as possible, you are required to earn this privilege with your loyalty, activity, hard work and support of the alliance as a whole in the following manner:
    1. ALL Caelestis Clans members MUST place all basic mats (varnish, bones, etc) into their clan's warehouse.
    2. ALL Caelestis Clans members MUST place all recipes and key parts for ALL A and S grade armour and weapons into their clan's warehouse.
    3. ALL full drops you get AFTER you join Caelestis, CaelestisII or Communion MUST be placed into the clan's warehouse.
    4. ALL drops obtained in Caelestis Clans raid parties will be given to Gloriana, who will look after managing the dispersal of the equipment to those most in need within Caelestis Clans.
  2. It is requested that all Caelestis Clans members donate all their old or unneeded equipment (armour, weapon, jewelry) to serve as "hand me downs" for other lower level Caelestis Clans members. Donate your equipment to Gloriana, who will look after managing the dispersal of the equipment to those most in need.
  3. All Caelestis Clans members should list their current equipment under their own individual posting in the "Mats Management" section of our forum. Priority for assistance with equipment is based on those individual posts, so it is to your benefit to keep your post updated with your current equipment and needs.
