Look at that elegant creature    Fisher cats can be found in North America and on no other continent.  They are found in forested areas and found mainly where their prey can be found.  The fisher cat can mainly be found in wooded areas and are vary rarely found in the open.  Fisher cats are mainly nocturnal so are usually out and about at night, this aids their "sneaky" form of hunting very greatly.

Fishers generally make their homes in crevices in trees and rock and can be found in squirrel and bird nests.  Normally in the winter Fisher cats make their homes in ground caves/crevices.  Their territories very by sex, males have approximately a 30 mile radius for their territories and the females have approximately a 10 mile radius.
