Title: Tic Talk: Living with Tourette Syndrome
Author: Dylan Peters
Illustrated By: Zachary Wendland and painted by Kris Taft Miller

Dylan Peters shares what he has learned of tolerance and acceptance during the five
years he's had Tourette Syndrome. In a style that is often humorous and always 
insightful, Dylan helps others, young and old understand TS and the enormous
pressures this little-understood affliction places on those who have it and on those who
love them.

from, and what impact it has on a child's life. Recommended for ages 4-8.
Title: I Can't Stop: A story about Tourette Syndrome
Author: Holly L. Niner

This book describes the diagnosis process that Nathan experiences and shows how
tics are discovered by others and may seem annoying to some people. A doctor in the
book describes Nathan's movements as tics and says that many children have
them, and that if the tics continue for a long time, that's called Tourette Syndrome.
With the help of his doctor, parents and friends, Nathan works on managing his tics so
they are not as noticeable to others. Recommended for ages 4-8.
Title: Hi, I'm Adam: A child's book about Tourette Syndrome
Author: Adam Buehrens (10 years old)

A child's story about what it is like to have Tourette Syndrome and attention deficit
hyperactivity disorder. Children who have TS will benefit by reading this book by
knowing they are not alone. They will be able to identify with Adam and his
frustrations, fears, and embarrassments. Recommended for ages 3-12.
