The Gospel Tabernacle Churches are so pleased to have you here. Our doors are always open to ALL who are seeking the truth and a greater understanding of the meaning of life. We strive to be a church based on the New Testament order of the Bible. Leave all your preconceived notions of what the meaning of church, religion, and spirituality behind. We are not of the same mold, but fashioned into a different kind of church: A church of the new millennium. A church of no denomination. Our order is different. Our methods are different. Our church services are different. Different because we are a modern assembly based on that "old time religion." We have a wonderful mixture of the modern with the traditional and because we have an "open pulpit," the Spirit of the Lord has free reign over the service.
The construction of the church is simple. It is built on love. The human body can be used as a blue print and example of how our church is ordered. The human body has one head and many members such as feet, hands, and fingers and so on. Jesus Christ is the head of the church and we are all members in paticular.
"So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another." Rom.12:5
"Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually." 1 Co. 12:27
It is under this order that our church operates based on the New Testament. 1 Corithians 12:1-31. There is no dictatorship where one man pins the people of God under his thumb and authority. Jesus is the head. There are no religious denominational committees who run the church business and services. The Holy Ghost is in charge of the church service. |

And we as members in the body of Christ each have a direct connection to Christ through his Holy Spirit. We are the church and the church is within each of us. We are witnesses of the Glory of God. Each of us has a mission and a job to do in the work of the Body of Christ. We are each responsible in carrying Christ's message to others, "To bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe." To be a Christian is to be "Christ-like." Therefore we strive to represent the characteristics of Christ. Which is why our motto and creed is "Whosoever will, Let him come!" But it doesn't end there.
We believe that if you don't instantly feel like a part of our family, we've failed. We know you will feel a love and peace in the Body of Christ like you have never felt anywhere else. It doesn't matter where you came from; if you are presently of a paticular denomination, or if you have never been part of a church or any type of religion, you are welcome here. It doesn't matter who you are; if you are rich or poor, black, white, hispanic...whatever your nationality, You are welcome here. It doesn't matter what you've done, saint or sinner, You are welcome here. |
