| They are the "Little Devil" type, but Hikaru is more devil-ish. They both have crushes on Haruhi, but Kaoru, who doesn't want to hurt his brother, he keeps his relationship with her toned down. Hikaru's is quite in depth though. They were born on June 9th, but Hikaru is older by one minute. They both like Italian food and super spicy food. In the first manga volume, in the back with the little character profiles, it says that the only reason they like spicy foods is because they like to eat food that other people wouldn't dare touch. | |||||||||||||||||
| They enjoy playing the "Which one is Hikaru-kun game?". The game is that they both wear hats, or change they way the part their hair, and have the girls who they are entertaining, guess which one is Hikaru and which is Kaoru. In the first manga volume and chapter, Haruhi guesses right, but they tell her she's wrong. To which she replies with " Aw...You know I'm right. Yes, your alike, but the samr? No way." It was because of Haruhi that they started to open up their eyes, the world becoming more then "Us" And "Those apart from us" | |||||||||||||||||
| Their mother (Yuzuha) designs clouthes for a living, and the twins will occasionally give some of her clothing for the Host Clubs events, ot when they want Haruhi to dress more femininely. Yuzuha comes to the school festival, and it's seen that she has quite a strong personality. The twins, who are often seen styling Haruhi's hair, or putting make-up on her, seem to get their knack for fashion from their mother. It seems that the Hitachiin family are mostly matriarchal linage, in other words, the women rule the family. | |||||||||||||||||
