trip to corregidor

Uhmm here are the details of my trip to the historical island of CORREGIDOR. Years back.. I still can remember that the need to see and visit Corregidor... But then I was still a student and doesn't have money to do as i please. Now.. I still don't have money but then there are things that I can do now that I can't do then.. hehehe!! Who would have thought that after 5 years I would be able to visit that island.. and relearn history. It's a company outing and my Ate brought me along. We woke up at around 5 am. And meet ate's officemates in Eurobake. Then we proceeded to CCP complex for the ferry to the island. The first trip is 8 am. We rode a speedboat-- making a usual 3 hour trip cut into one hour of engagement with the sea. We arrived at 9 am.. rode a bus.. and proceeded with the trip. I'm not inclined to History.. much more Philippine History.. but then I got no choice but to listen.. I did brainwashed my cells to listen and tricked them that what I am listening to is really INTERESTING.

It was a beautiful place.. so serene.. and peaceful. I had a nice time and it was fun to be with my ate on occasions like this. It was so hot in Corregidor... Haaaaaay.. and the buildings are still there.. canons and other war gadgets. They've put up an AVIARY and we checked it out.. they have a bird -- a martinez.. who keeps on saying "what?" "panget" hehehe!! I can't help but to answer back.. Then we went to the remains of the WWII. Of course, we had some pictures taken. I'm going to post some in the near future. Really.. after the tour.. I believe I've come to understand and learn to love ( a little ) History.

I had fun under the burning glare of the sun...
