| Elta Meyer born March 2, 1913.
Married to Elmer Meyer on Aug. 27, 1936. Elmer and Elta
have lived their entire married life in the home where Elmer was born on
Nov. 21, 1910. Elmer farmed this home place. Elmer's mother lived with them until her death. They were life long
members of St James (Longbranch) Lutheran Church. In
their later years they were very active in community card
clubs. Elmer passed away on December 11, 1995. After his
death, Elta sold the farm and moved to a house in
Johnson, Nebr. where she continued to have a large
garden. In 2004 Elta became a resident of Legacy Terrace in Lincoln, NE.
In August 2007 she entered the Good Samaritan Center at Auburn, NE where she passed away on
September 27, 2007. Elta and Elmer have 4 children: Ellen, Leo, Larry Loren. |
