| Larry Meyer born Nov. 21,
1946. Married on June 2, 1973 to Carol Ann
Wollenburg, born June 15, 1951. Larry received
his BA at the University of Nebraska in 1972 and
his Masters in Divinity from Wortburg Theological
Seminary in 1976. He was ordained at St. James Lutheran Church, Humboldt, NE on
June 27, 1976. Carol received her Masters in
Music from the University of Wisconsin in 1976.
Pastor Larry served first at the Lutheran Church-Crystal, Minneapolis, MN. Following this he was
Campus Pastor, Spokane & Cheney, WA, Campus Pastor, SDSU, Brookings, SD, Campus Pastor University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
Larry enjoyed woodworking, gardening, auto mechanics (especially VW's), Big Red activities, and had a career-long dedication to students and the church which he loved. Larry passed away on April 29, 2005 after a 2 1/2 year battle with esophagel cancer. Larry and Carol have 4 children: |
