Honors Algebra 1/2 (7t)
This is a two-year class that covers advanced pre-algebra, followed by honors algebra.  Students in this section of math will experience an honors level course with more in-depth applications and experiential learning, but the pacing of the class will allow for more practice and review than the more typical one-year honors algebra class.  Topics covered include operations with signed numbers, combinatorics, probability, the language of algebra, solving equations (linear, absolute value, quadratic, radical, rational,  simultaneous), word problems, rational algebra expressions, operations with polynomials (including factoring), graphing in two dimensions, and solving inequalities.
