| This course is the equivalent of an honors level, high school Geometry course, including a review of first year algebra. Students learn about deductive systems, the language of geometry, definitions, postulates, and theorems; different forms of proofs; set notation; concepts related to parallel and perpendicular lines and planes, angles, triangles, congruence, similarity, polygonal regions and areas, solids and volumes, circles, spheres, sectors, and coordinate geometry. | ||||||||||||||||||
