While many Jedi students were taken across the galaxy
by their Masters to learn more about the Force and the
Republic they served, the Jedi Temple had abundant
training facilities, verandas and places for meditation
for a thousand Jedi, and more.

Entering the Temple from the promenade at the
ziggurat base, visitors were faced with the Temple
lobby. From there, they could head to a variety of rooms
used for training, contemplation or meetings between
Jedi. Vast atriums were spread across the interior,
while smaller hallways and corridors connected rooms.
Statues and busts of famous Jedi past and present
were dotted around the Jedi Temple, and often served to inspire Jedi contemplating a puzzle or off on a mission. However, all the main areas of the Temple were accessed from the grand corridor, which also housed cubicles for solitary meditation.

The Temple was large enough to feature hundreds of hallways and rooms for meditation, and it was said that few people ever explored all of it. Lofty arches and huge open spaces served to humble and inspire young Padawans in the Temple, while also provoking contemplation of the galaxy and the Force. Above the grand corridor was the grand balcony, which looked over the many training areas in the Temple. Training took place in a variety of areas; verandas were used to show students the view of Coruscant, while enclosed rooms focused a young Jedi's mind on the tasks before them.
