A durable speeder bike used to cross the treacherous terrain of Geonosis, a Geonosian speeder bike was commandeered by Count Dooku as a means of escaping to his secret hangar when the Republic struck.
The Geonosian speeder was developed for such fast getaways, and can reach a top speed of 634 kph over even the rockiest terrain. Though the speeders were usually piloted by soldier drones on patrol missions around the Geonosian hive-cities, many were reserved for Confederate dignitaries. The repulsorlift speeder featured a simple command unit built into the controls to communicate with an optional escort of Geonosian starfighters.
Dooku used this feature during his escape. As he left a Geonosian hangar bay, flanked by two beak-wing starfighters, he found a Republc gunship was tailing him. He ordered his escort to break off and attack the gunship, buying him enough time to reach his secret hangar. |
