Boys and girls, please listen to me. I am only going to say once and will not repeat it again. Even if you have to beg me, I won't do it. That was Mr. Glen who is the Senior Scientist from the Royal Society of London, United Kingdom. He was lecturing the students on conservation works in Danum and all the current and future activities in the forest.
Hey, the truck is overloaded. I guessed these are words that came out from the Headmaster, Mr. Alan Rogers. Please would you mind sitting down because the journey is rough and bumpy. You might fell out of the truck and landed in the mouth of a hungry Tiger.
It was a rare occasion for Ms. Helen to celebrate her birthday in the middle of a thick jungle of Borneo. We were actually in Borneo Rainforest Lodge, in Danum Valley Conservation Area, where Ms. Helen was thrown a suprise. I don't know what's age. Let's keep quite about it. Unfortunately, I was not there to celebrate with her. I have to bring down one of the girls who had a acute sun burnt for immediate treatment. Ms. Lucy (one of the teachers) was with us. The journey back to Lahad Datu wasn't that bad eventhough it was drizzling .
The group took a few moment to remember those soldiers who died here while fighting the Japanese. Look at the faces of the students. They looked sad.
One could never describe how happy they were to have experienced the tubing activity. They have never thought of visiting Sabah. But today, their lifetime experience was worth remembering. "Would you come again in the near future?" That was my question to one of the participant, Ms. Liza. The answer was "You bet".

We visited Danum Valley Field Centre. The reknown scientific research centre should not be missed if you are in this part of the country. The forest was just marvellous and fantastic. We happened to meet a yound reseracher from England. He is a nice chap. We spent time talking to him and asking him a lot of questions on the research he was doing. He was researching what's going on on top of the tree. He brought us the place where he collected specimens. You know what...it on top of the tree. We climb one of the tallest tower tree. Gee... 40 meters above the ground. My legs were shivering and I couldn't bring myself to look down. It was an exciting but scary moment of my life.
