I know what you're thinking, You're probably thinking "Hey pal, this is the 21st century. Everybody knows the world is round. Columbus proved it when he discovered America." OK, but did you know that Columbus was actually trying to find a shortcut to the Spice Islands and Japan, and you know what else? He never made it! Furthermore he sailed right through what later became known as "The Bermuda Triangle." How much credence can you give to a guy like that? Anyone who is not now fully convinced of the error in their thinking need only visit this site for further evidence. But I digress. If you're like me (and I know I am), then you probably wax nostalgia for the good old days of computing when techno-misfits would spend hours writing clunky programs in BASIC on their 16K 8-bit computers while hovelled up in a dark corner of their room. It was a time when personal computers served no useful purpose, a time when Bill Gates and Steve Jobs were just punks with bad haircuts. Oops, I'm sorry. I guess I kind of went off on a tangent there. What I really wanted to do was to make available some small programs that I wrote a few years ago. These programs will only appeal to those with a technical interest in computers. 2 of them are 8-bit microprocessor emulators written for DOS mode PCs. I also have a machine code assembler-debugger for the mighty VIC-20. All 3 of these function like the program DEBUG using most of the commands and having the same general appearance.
