Ukrianian folk dances won over the hearts of the millions of spectators. They, as songs, ballads, legends, are an artistic expression of the soul of the Ukrainian people, its age-old hopes, customs, and traditions. Ukrainian folk dance has a centuries-old history, it absorbed the character and the temperant of the people. The preservation of this invaluable treasure and pride of Ukraine and passing it on to the next generations is the main task of the National folk dance ensemble "Krynychenka", which derived its name from a deep Ukrainian well -- the source of life and the symbol of purity.
