Based on Antoine de Saint-Exupery's 1943 book, this film completely captures the spirit and wonder of the story. A pilot (Richard Kiley) crashes in the desert. He is befriended by a little boy (Steven Warner) who tells the pilot all about his adventures. These adventures all have deeper meanings than what is portrayed. The music in this film is wonderful and entertaining, the meanings are deep, insightful, and applicable, the performances are sure to entertain, and this film is a true wonderment of filmmaking.
