PLANET OF THE APES

1968 ****1/2 112 mins.

In this sci-fi classic, Charlton Heston, along with three colleagues, are sent to a distant planet in the distant future, where apes are the superior beings and humans are treated as slaves. The suspense is masterful, and every frame of this frame entrances the viewer to the stunning climax.
Rated G, although I'm not sure why, due to strong language and suggestive situations.
