This has got to be the best straight-forward action film ever made. This is the only film of its kind that works this well. There's no goofy attempt at sentiment, there's no tear-jerking ending. This is just a slam-bang thriller that grabs you hard and does not let go. A group of terrorists seize a building, and it's up to John McClane (Bruce Willis) to stop them.
