1984 ** 96 mins.
Don't ask me why this has always been a favourite of mine. I mean, this film is nothing short of a crappy B-movie that doesn't even deserve the rating of a "B". The editing is choppy, the story is bland, and it won't give you anything remotely resembling good cinema. For some reason, though, I'm hooked on it. The acting isn't bad at all, and that is a redeeming quality. Once you set aside any expectations you have of filmmaking, you can't help but be entertained. I love this film, but I will admit that it sucks.
Rated R for language, gore, and violence.
