| When I first started drawing, I did strictly realistic stuff, then I progressed into lots of fantasy art. I do commissions (custom art for pay), and I sell originals & prints online with Paypal. E-mail me if you are interested in a commission; I would be more than happy to design tattoos and logos as well. (Sometime in the next year I plan to officially call this a business... it's the only type of job I have time for during school.) One of the styles of art I have done often in the past few years is called Furry Art. It's like drawing people with animal characteristics... or vice versa. It's just a fun style of art to try if you happen to really like animals, as well as drawing people. (I've posted an explanation because I often get questions about it) You might ask me why I'm not making a career out of this. My answer is along the lines of "just because I don't want to." That doesn't really explain much, but it's true for the most-part. I just can't stand the thought of putting myself into a position where creativity is required of me 24/7... which would be extremely draining. I would probably burn out quickly if I were say, a graphic designer. Instead I'd rather be an engineer, so that I get to use creativity and my brain... not one or the other. If I'm going to make any money doing art, I strictly want to be a freelance artist. Recently I updated my gallery with several brand new pieces, which are more representative of my abilities. I'm proud of them, so check them out if you can. They're for sale actually, but if they're too pricey don't hesitate to ask about a commission or a print. |
