I got all inspired today and decided that it was time to learn how to use a stylesheet!   Yes, I know, astounding.   So I basically spent the entire day "revamping" the site, and although it's not quite what I had in mind when I started with this whole HTML business, it's looking better and better.   I hope.   Anyhoo, I'm still in the middle of this whole process as I speak, so I had better get back to it so this whole place can be the same layout.

I finally started back up on this place!   It's been rather desolate and stagnant for a few days.   I'd just like to pause to say that I have now had 205 visitors to my site.   *polite applause*   WOOOOOO!   Of course, 100 of them could have very well been me, but STILL!!!   I'm so psyched.   (Could you tell?)   Um...I just added a poem and a quiz.   Yeah.   I'm not sure how accurate the quiz is, but it sure looks good!   So it stays.   Yep, that's it for now.   (Oh, and I hope no one feels compelled to read this all...my friend Mindi made it clear it was boring rambling, and it is, so PLEASE don't feel like you'll miss anything if you don't read every last word of this page.   It's mainly for my own benefit, and it gave me an exscuse to add a button.)

I haven't been able to do much work here for a few days, no thanks to a little internet connection problem on the computer up in my room.   I finally decided it's worth it to brave the publicity of the kitchen computer if it's the only way I can work on my site.   Until my connection decides to cooperate again, that is.   So.   All I did today was update my 'about me' and replaced the picture of myself with a picture that shows an evil squirrel in action.   If you don't know what I look like...well...phoo on you.   *sticks tongue out*   Back to acting my age, though.   Yeah, I just didn't want the whole world to know what I looked like.   Stalkers, stalkers, stalkers...heh.   Um...I'd like to make another quiz, but I'm not feeling creative enough to think of that many questions that go with one theme.   I've also written a Harry Potter fanfic, so as soon as I have a few more, I'm going to make a button for that and put them there.   Or maybe that could just be another section of 'stories'.   Yeah.   That seems more logical.

Didn't do that much today, but I added a few banners for links that I made and I'm in the process of making more quizzes.   Speaking of which, I have no clue why I said yesterday that I added the quiz page, because it's not there.   So that's a short little project I have for today.

Decided the "small" text looks better after all.   Now I'll just have to write more so my site doesn't look bare.   Today I added a "quiz" page, including a quiz, this page, and changed everything to "small" text, which took a surprisingly long amount of time considering how puny my site is. And I also learned the <blockquote></blockquote> tag, which makes my pages look that much more organized.   I've been thinking of having some sort of Harry Potter parody page, but I'll call it fanfic because I know of a parody page already and I don't want to copy it.   Trying to think of more stuff to put here to make your visit to my site more worthwhile...

I haven't done any work on this site for a couple days due to a guitar(!!!) my dad got me.   That was obviously calling to be played for two days straight.   But now I'm back on track as my blisters heal and I added to the 'poetry central' and 'stories' pages, plus started a 'links' page.   Would my font look better as "small" than as the "medium" it is now?   I can't make up my mind.   Changing it may mean changing some buttons so it looks proportional...I dunno.

WOOHOO!!!   I actually have some links on this thing!   It's an actual 'site' instead of a 'page'!   Heh.   I added the 'about me', 'poetry', and 'stories' links.   That's all so far.

This version of my website is finally underway!   (I've started many other versions.)   I'm really hoping that this is the one that actually makes it past the homepage.   I actually have some stuff already written this time, though, so that's a good sign.   So far all I have done is the splash page and the homepage.   I guess we'll see how far it actually gets...
