Chantal's CD hits American stores tomorrow with the same Canadian tracklisting except for the addition of 'Feels Like Home', her 1999 Dawson's Creek track that also appeared on 'How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days' soundtrack and on the bonus CD of Canada's 'Colour Moving And Still'. BestBuy will have the album on for $6.99 and various chains in the US have a free CD single for 'In This Life'. Chantal has already begun promotion with a stop at Jay Leno tonight!

You can now check out some shots from the 'Time' video right here on Colour Moving And Chantal! Very colourful video and I love the scenes of the exterior of the house, which was what this simple logo is made of.


'In This Life' has appeared on its first compilation CD called 'Girls Night Out 2' which was released this past Tuesday. The track listing also features Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion, Mandy Moore and maybe others. 'Before You' appeared on a total of four different releases outside of 'Colour Moving And Still'.
In American chart news, go to Radio & Records and click on Hot AC in the Charts section and you'll see Chantal has entered at #36 on that chart with 'In This Life'. Not too shabby!

Chantal's video 'In This Life' is now added to VH1 and can be viewed for a short time at the VH1 website. Meanwhile, 'Time' has been added to Much and MuchMoreMusic in Canada so watch for it!

Lots of Chantal news as the first update of the new year comes around! First things first, her new release to Canadian radio is 'Time' and as of right now, a few stations are reportedly playing it.

Chantal's song 'In This Life' hits American radio February 17th on the Hot AC format and the track is already getting pre-impact airplay at numerous stations on the format as well as some AAA stations and an Alternative station. The song is Top 10 in the Taking Off section of Hot AC (most increased airplay for a new song) and Top 20 for most increased airplay overall according to Mediabase 24/7.

The song is also getting amazing comments on the online radio magazine Hitmakers, where radio programmers comment on some of the new songs they're adding. Here are the most recent comments:

Chantal is doing a song called 'Whisper' for the Shrek 2 Soundtrack but no worries about it interupting the run of her current CD, it probably won't hit stores until later 2003.

Chantal's song 'In This Life' is #19 based on Audience Impressions (songs heard by the most people in Canada) and #21 in radio airplay (number of times song got played in Canada) in only 4 and 3 weeks respectively. That's a fast rise!
