Behavioural Studies - Introduction

One of the oddest entities in the universe can be found on this very planet.  These entities has been around since humans first walked the earth.  Since then it has spread, and in a sense, evolved.  In fact, it has become a "species-within-a-species".

The behaviour of this species-within-a-species is quite a subject of interest.  As organisms of the original species (homo sapiens), upon reaching a certain age, this entity will turn into the species-within-a-species.  After a few years, some specimens will revert back to homo sapiens, but most do not.  The cause of this reversal is still being researched.  Other research, however, has been conducted, and data compiled on the odd behaviour of this species-within-a-species.

The name of this enigmatic species?  Simply put, the teenage male.
