Completing the Rest of the Spells
Now that the wizard is gone you are free to do as you please! The next thing you're going to want to do is complete the rest of the spells. You can collect the items you need in any order, but my suggestion is to collect the things from the outside world first. The first place I go is the store. In the store you need to buy: salt grains, an empty pouch, fish oild, and a jar of lard. Leave and walk one screen down. On one of the trees there is a funny looking green thing. That is the mistletoe. Get that if you don't already have it. I"m going to just tell you where the rest of the items are found. The thimbleful of dew comes from the bear's house. The thimble is in a drawer upstairs. Once you have the thimble go into the garden and type "get dew." The reptile skin and cactus can be found in the desert. At this point you can't actually go in the desert because of Medusa (as you may have already discovered). Before entering the desert save and type "show medusa mirror". Then go into the desert and wait. Medusa will come. When she gets close to you push enter. If this is done correctly Medusa will turn to stone. Now you are free to roam the desert. WARNING: If you go too far to the left you will get lost. The reptile skin is a brown blob in the middle of the screen (it looks like a crack). It is found in the screen that is the top left corner on the map. The cactus is by a big rock on the 3rd screen down on the map. The mud is on the side of the river. You need the spoon from the kitchen to get the mud. The ocean water is found (obviously) in the ocean. You need the cup from the dining room to get this. The eagle feather can be found in several differant places, but the place I usually find it is the foot of the path. You walk on and off the screen until the eagle comes, and he should drop a feather. This could take many tries. After you have all of these items go back to the house. Right outside of your front door you have chickens. Go into the cage, pick up a chicken, and take it's feather. Then go inside. Go to the very top floor, the one above your bedroom. There is a dead fly on the floor. Get it's wings. Then head to the labratory to begin the tedious task of spell making. Right now you should have the ingredients to make all of the spells except "Teleportation At Random." Make all of the other spells. It would be a good idea to save between each spell, in case you mess up on one, to prevent having to redo all the spells. After you have finished all these spells, look at your map. Go to the second screen from the right top corner (it has a cave with a spider web). Dip your eagle feather in the essence and fly into the spider web. YOu will then get rid of the spider, freeing up the cave. Go inside. The oracle will tell you a story and give you a stone-the remaining ingredient. Go back home and make the spell.
