| MISERY
Misery to me, is watching someone you love very much, die a slow and Painful death. I was emotionally devastated at a young age as I watched my grandmother suffer and die slowly from cancer. Death does not have any mercy and it creeps into everyones life in some form or another. Misery is about death and the everlasting effect that it has left on me. This is one of my darker works, but all the same it is an important part of my being and coming to grips with the grim reality of death. Shadows of a distant past, Of the ones you love. You can see the death blazing in their eyes. The nights are getting colder. Days are growing dim. The tears are only raindrops in disguise. Cover me and take all my fears far away. Take my hand and lead me from this pain. I cant feel the sunshine. It has gone astray. Far too long I walked this path in vain. Misery Ive seen your face. I tried to turn away. The memory is deep within my mind. Misery it burns so deep, Deep inside my soul, Like a fire burns in the darkest night. 2003 Fred S Mayoros Jr. All rights reserved Click Here To Listen To the Song Misery |

| AUTUMN REALM
Walking into the hospital room and seeing my friend Steve lying in the bed close to dying was a sight that still to this day stays with me. I could see it in his eyes that he was suffering and I knew it would be over soon. Steven York (BONES) was the first musician my brother and I had ever had the privilege to play music with and for that I am truly grateful. To this day is one of the main reasons why I still play music. The song Autumn Realm was written and dedicated in loving memory to our brother Steven York. Sitting all alone, Watching the rain falling down. Its getting cold outside. You can see it in the sky. The cobwebs in you mind, Havent cleared from long ago. It doesnt have to be this way. Now its time for you to leave my friend. Beyond the Crystal Sea, The Autumn Realm You will find. I wish we had a few more times, A few more times like these, my friend. Standing in the rain, Breathing autumn breeze. 2003 Fred S Mayoros Jr. All rights reserved |
