Korean War

"Every gun that is made, every warship launched is a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, from those who are cold and are not clothed." - Joy Hakim

Korea was separated from each other; South and North after World War II had ended. The Korean War began in June 25, 1950 - July 27, 1953. The Korean War was one of the most forceful and bloody wars in which our nation has been involved. The Republic of Korea was proclaimed in the South and the People's Democratic Republic of Korea in the North. All these bloody events have happened because of the invasion of North Korea. During the Korean War, President of United States, Harry B. Truman, Eisenhower, and MacArthur as well as others had played an important role either trying to help or to end the war.
