A DERBY TO FORGET 18.11.02 Previous Page Next Page There is only one word I want to say about last Sat match between Spurs & Gunners...simply F**K** UP!!.....The performance by Spurs was simply the worst I have seen this season, we were simply outplayed and outclassed by the Gunners. Where was the defending? And why was Asshole Arsenal allowed to run circles around Spurs goalpost?.. Why did G.Hoddle only bring on Anderton and Poyet late into the game, where the fate has already been sealed. These are questions that G.Hoddle must answers, or else he might find himself out of a job soon... There was certainly no shortage of passion but, from there, it was uphill to say the least. The early exchanges were feisty, as expected, as the home side got on the front foot. After 45 minutes, Arsenal were ahead with a Thierry Henry goal that started from our throw-in, had two goals disallowed, another chance hacked off the line and we were down to 10 men with Simon Davies off for two yellow cards. The first for a supposed foul on Ashley Cole that was questionable to say the least. Where could we go from here? The last thing we needed was to concede early in the second half, but the second goal arrived just nine minutes after the break. What the F**k....again Spurs defence was guilty of ball - watching. I am very disappointed with Etherington, King and "pitbull" S.Carr, who let Henry outrun them and jinked left before driving low into the corner. (Spurs) You guys should be ashamed of yourself. R.Keane again failed to score when Spurs carved out their best chance after 20 minutes as Carr's long ball released Davies down the right channel, the Welshman crossed invitingly for Keane but the striker failed to get a decent contact on the header. Prehaps we made a mistake in signing him, and should have chosen another striker instead. If he continues his poor run into the next few games, he might find himself without a "home" pretty soon. Gus Poyet replaced Etherington at half-time as we attempted to get back into the game. Unfortunately, any hopes on that front were quickly extinguished when Redknapp was brushed off the ball by Ljungberg, a possible foul and the Swede was there to tap home after Henry turned King and laid it on a plate. Again we are denial by the f**king referee, who turned a blind eyes on the foul on Redknapp. Therefore the Best alternative right now is to sack G.Hoddle and get another better manager to manage Spurs out of this crisis. Or else I might just changed Camp and support Gombak United (A S-League Team) instead, since both are of the same f**ked up standard.
