Geez, four years already on the web. Well, I guess I should start off since I'm the one that created it. Well it all started off one day when I was reading an article of an upcoming "Mega Man Battle Network" game. Wondering what "Mega Man Battle Network" was, I read the article. Actually, at that time, I've never even heard of a "Mega Man". Sounded like a super hero to me. I read the article and went "Sounds weird." So I went on with my life. Then I read it again, and again, and again. I finally read it for the last time and went "Okay, I'm going out and getting it." Well after I bought the game and played it, I was "hooked". And I was so hooked, I decided to make an RPG of the game.

At the time, my friends Ryan, Charlie, Bill, and myself created a website called "Game Master". The site was created on the Angelfire network. After a couple of months later, I created "The Battle Network". Although hidden in the site, it had a few characters. When Game Master moved to Topcities, so did "The Battle Network" but under the new name "Mega Man Battle Network RPG".

At the time, the Mega Man Battle Network RPG was the only MMBN RPG out there at the time and the only one on the IRC network. And guess what, we even had bandwidth back then, unlike we do now. There were only 20 battle chips you could choose from, and the weapons were limited to Buster's and Swords. And that's when the MMBN RPG took a downfall.

While developing stories for the MMBN RPG, I was on another RPG called "Super Smash Quest" done by my friend "Wolfman". During SSQ's and MMBN RPG's Season 2, SSQ got in the way. Season 2 lasted only a couple episodes before it was gone.

It would have been over from there. That's right, no more MMBN RPG, but it didn't. While on the IRC network, I got a Private Message from a user called "Mega_Boy" Apparently, he saw the site and saw the chat room and loved it. He asked me to meet in my chat room with him.

As far as I remember, he wanted to help me revive the RPG and update it to the new EXE 2 game. So, we started. For 2 weeks, Mega_Boy and I met on the chat room and planned out how to revive the RPG.

When we revived it, it was July 15, 2002, and the chat room died around December 15, 2001. That's why if you look up the info for the chat room, it says 2002, not 2000. But getting to that later. During February 2003 and still in Season 2 of the MMBN RPG, a powerful snow storm swept through where I lived. I had a week off of school. Finding out a EXE 3 game was on the way, I headed to Sprites INC to capture the latest Battle Chips for it. I spent 1 whole week updating the Battle Chip section of the RPG to include every single Battle Chip from the EXE 3 game.

After that, I hooked up with the "Rockman EXE Fanlisting" as an affiliate, but had to move to our current location in order for the link from them to us to work. And this is where we are now. Season 8, new site layout, and the 4th anniversary. What do you think will happen next year? Well, I really don't know. Hopefully we can get a new provider that can actually give us more bandwidth.
