The following are the different emotions a Net Navi goes through during a battle
if he's not using a Soul Style. If he's using a Soul Style, none of these will
occur.
Roll = Normal
Normal - Unless your Net Navi is in a Full Synchro or Dark Soul state,
they'll always be in this emotional state. Roll's are normal and so are attacks,
with the exception of Addition chips.
Roll = Normal,
PA's = x d20+10
Full Synchro - This emotional state is when the Net Navi and the
Operator are one. In Full Synchro many things happen. If one of the following
are preformed, Full Synchro will end and the Net Navi will return to a Normal
emotional state, unless you are in a Dimensional Area and have used a Cross
Fusion chip.
- You use a Battle Chip
- You use a Soul Style
- You use a Program Advance
- You get hit with an enemy attack
Here are the benefits of Full Synchro:
- The next Battle Chip attack is x2 it's normal damage
- A Program Advance roll will be x d20+10 (x = the amount of dice needed to
roll for that Program Advance)
You can get into Full Synchro bye one of three ways. The first way is
countering an opponents attack. When you counter, you roll your REF roll. If it
is successful, then you can use a Battle Chip to attack back, rolling to see if
it hits of course. If the Battle Chip hits, counter has been done and you will
be in Full Synchro. It will not work if you use a normal weapon. You can also
get into Full Synchro by using a Cross Fusion chip in a Dimensional Area.
However by doing that, you can not be able to use Battle Chips unless someone
else slots in a Battle Chip Gate on their PET to send Battle Chips to you. The
final way is using a Pulse Transmission System (PTS) or an Advance Pulse
Transmission System (APTS). All except for the Cross Fusion chip will allow you
to send Battle Chips to your Net Navi.
Roll = x
d20-5
Worried - If your Navi gets hit 5 times in a row, yes that's 5 times
in a row, your Navi's concentration will be off (meaning roll is x d20-5), and
he'll kick the Battle Routine out of the window and do stuff on his own. When
your Navi is in this state, 2 Dark Chips will appear, you can not use Soul
Styles, and Cross Fusion, forget it. The only way to get a Navi out of the
"worried" side is do one of three things, use one or both Dark Chips,
use a recovery chip, or keep getting hit. If he gets hit 3 more times in a row,
he'll go into...
Roll = x
d20+5
Angry - That's it, you've pissed him off too much, but wait. There's a
reward for continued on getting hit. What's that you asked, because your Navi is
so angry, he'll concentrate really hard on hitting and deleting his opponent.
Which means the next Battle Chip attack will be x2. After you use a Battle Chip
that can be increased by a multiple of 2, he'll revert to his normal self. Some
Navi's have been gotten defeated trying to become angry. Can you master this?
Roll = Normal
Dark Soul - Okay, so maybe you like being evil? Well then after
worried, use a Dark Chip. However, be warned what happens next. First of all,
your total HP will drop by 1 point. Not a biggy, but keep using these baby's and
you'll be in deep trouble. Another thing is that your Navi will be bugged. Which
means he'll have bugs in him that will make him go crazy. Sometimes his HP will
drop for no reason. If your Navi's HP gets to be 1/4 of his Total HP, he'll
become a Dark Soul Navi for 5 turns. That means his HP will drop by 20 points
every turn (not his Total HP). If your Navi doesn't have a total of 1 HP by the
end of 5 turns, he'll revert back to being a regular Navi. If, however, he has a
total of 1 HP by the end of the turn, he'll be in Dark Soul forever. Now being
in a Dark Soul, these can occur:
- Your Navi will operate himself and use Battle Chips from aboslutly no
where.
- He can not get deleted by any attack except for Dark Chips
- He'll stay that way until his HP is above 1.
If your Total HP is also 1, the only way to get him out of Dark Soul is by
raising his HP with HP + Navi Customizer programs or HP Memory programs. There
is a down side to being Dark, and that is you may loose your Net Navi forever.
He might stay in the internet and you'll have to get a new one. Beware of the
Dark Chips.
