| In 1804 at least five of the 26 families appearently not returned to their original homeland moved farther east to Taurien (South Russia) and settled at Alt-Nassau. These are Johann Eideneuer (later: Euteneier and Eiteneier) from Wilgersdorf, Georg Fey, Johann Georg and Heinrich Moos from Holzhausen, Peter Gerbershagen from Herzhausen and perhaps Conrad Schlecht from Wertenbach. |
These families are listed in the Revisionsliste 1811 of Alt-Nassau in Taurien as # 32, 46, 37, 27 and 35, published by Karl Stumpp in Die Auswanderung aus Deutschland nach Rußland in den Jahren 1763 bis 1862, p.883 ff.
| The Neusser family (later: Neisser, Revisionsliste of Neu-Montal [founded 1816] , # 19, p. 905) stems possibly from Siegerland, too.. |
