Title: Ai to kunou no kaitenmokuba (The merry-go-round of love and suffering)

Kokubu House, Saturday morning.

Before heading out Shuuhei gave Karin two tickets to the Kurohaland amusement park, saying he can't make it because he's having a date at a movie theatre, and suggested her to find a boyfriend to spend her free time with. Of course she is very unhappy hearing Shuuhei's remarks, especially with the three piglets also singing about that.

On her way to school Karin tried to get Masami to go to Kurohaland with her saying that the tickets are only good until tomorrow. As Masami ponders about it she noticed Mizuno and Kashiwagi approaching, and promptly declined saying that she was already booked. Kashiwagi saw Karin's Kurohaland ticket, but Mizuno doesn't seem to know much about the park. Masami pushed Karin to invite Mizuno. She did, and he accepted - only he also tried to get Kashiwagi to go as well, much to Karin's chagrin. Suddenly Takuma landed in front of Karin and sang a love song to get her attention, and Kuroha's car also appeared shortly afterwards. Kuroha got off, saw the Kurohaland tickets and, in another bid to show off herself, handed everyone a pile of them. She then asked Takuma out again. Of course he fled and Kuroha jumped back in her car and sped away after him. Masami then admitted that she lied about being booked in order to bring her and Mizuno together.

The next day Karin was preparing lunch for her "date" with Kouichi-kun. She was trying to make rice balls that look like Buurin's head, but they just don't look right no matter how hard she tried. She cheered herself up saying that cooking is all about love.

Karin was late again at the train station, and on arrival she tripped and slid on the ground for the last couple steps. As Karin gather herself she saw Kaoru also there. Kashiwagi invited her to make chances for Mizuno, but Karin is less than happy with the way things turned out, while claiming that the more people around the merrier.

The gang were admiring the sheer size of Kurohaland while Mizuno wondered how to get there. Kuroha welcomed them from a zeppelin above, telling them about a underwater tunnel leading to the entrance, while boasting about the views from that tunnel, and that it was built with cutting-edge technology, but of course they were all gone before Kuroha finished. In the tunnel there were more admirations, while Kashiwagi comments that rich people will happily spend all that money. Kuroha again entered the scene in a diving suit, wanting to have her classmates all in sight. They were scared away by a shark coming from behind Kuroha, which then chased after her.

As Karin and company entered Kurohaland we saw fireworks, a robot band, and monorail. Karin noticed a janitor robot, who also noticed her and went after her "thinking she is garbage." Meanwhile Kuroha was panting after the shark encounter, and she heard Takuma flirting with her, not knowing who she is. As an overjoyed Kuroha turn towards Takuma, fear struck him with the revelation. Alas it was too late for Takuma to escape as he was dragged away kicking by Kuroha.

On the first ride Karin screamed all the way, but Kaoru almost fainted after coming out of it. After Kaoru apologized Masami and Mizuno wanted her to take a rest, but she declined saying she's OK. Before going on to the second ride "Capsule Slider" the gang played rocks-scissors-paper to decide how to pair up. Karin was at a loss seeing Kouichi-kun telling Kaoru to hold on tight, riding in pair. At the third ride "Space World" Mizuno was again paired with Kaoru. As Karin rode alone dejected she started thinking the two would make a good couple before coming to her senses. Mizuno and Kaoru were paired again on the next ride "Space Monstar." Mizuno told Kaoru to not go on this ride but she said she would be OK with Mizuno-kun. Karin heard this and got really pissed, unleashing her anger on the VR sprites as she and Masami blast their way through the ride. Meanwhile Mizuno was not so lucky at shooting the sprites, and with a very, very scared Kaoru pulling him down things got sticky with her sobbing in fear and the sprites crowding around them. We can guess how Karin felt having seen all this.

(Commercial Break)

Kaoru continued sobbing well after exiting the ride. Kashiwagi blamed Mizuno for not taking care of her. Karin could not hold it anymore and lashed out at Kaoru for getting everyone worried by pressing beyond herself, but regretted after getting a hint from Masami. Masami then tried to get Kashiwagi to buy lunch in order to distract Kaoru. Karin said she brought lunch but could not get her backpack off, as Kaoru brought out her lunch pack saying she prepared lunch for everyone. So the gang started lunch. Kashiwagi noticed the efforts Kaoru put into making all her rice balls into soccer ball shape and told Mizuno, who still didn't have a clue. Karin did not eat, and ran off with an excuse.

Karin wanted to throw away the Buurin lunch in a big upset, but she couldn't do it. Then she spotted a lost boy crying on a nearby bench, and approached him with a Buurin rice ball. At first the boy didn't know what that is - to Karin's unpleasant surprise - but gladly accepted it. Fortunately this was enough to calm him down until his mother found him, when the grateful boy waves Karin goodbye. Kaoru watched this episode from behind a lamp post without Karin noticing her, and made up her mind on something.

Karin got back to her friends who told her that Kaoru went after her because she was worried. Karin felt sorry about it. As Mizuno called for his fellows to go looking for Kaoru, Karin said she knew what Kaoru might be up to, having remembered her earlier nasties.

Kaoru walked up to a massive roller coaster. A technician posted a "out of order" sign at its gate, but the sign soon fell and the janitor robot dutifully swept it away. Without the indication Kaoru boarded the coaster. She was still afraid, but she was determined to challenge herself once more. Meanwhile in the control room two technicians was testing the ride's brake system. They were starting a test run when they noticed Kaoru on board. They were unable to shut it down, so off she went on the ride, with tears flying out. There were already a crowd of onlookers as Karin and her fellows arrived. A man told Karin that a girl went on a out-of-order coaster by mistake, and she knew it must be Hidaka. Feeling responsible for Kaoru's plight, Karin offered to call in Buurin, and ran behind a washroom to transform.

Buurin quickly flied towards Kaoru and first tried to stop the coaster without success and getting her feet burned. As the coaster sped up even more Buurin had trouble catching up, but she still managed to grab the seat besides Kaoru. Finally the coaster went too fast to stay on track and flied off, fortunately Buurin was there to lift it through the air. The scene of Buurin lifting a coaster train through the air was enough to distract even an obsessed Kuroha from trying to kiss a terrified Takuma. Kaoru thanked Buurin for saving her life, who got too delighted and let go of the coaster, which then went falling down together with Kaoru. Buurin, having realized what she had done, quickly went and picked up Kaoru and fly off before the coaster crashed into the ground.

Kaoru passed out, but quickly came to, laughing, and said she will be OK riding anything. When Buurin asked why she went on a coaster ride alone, Kaoru said she wanted to be like her best friend Karin. As Buurin heard Mizuno and others coming for Kaoru, she said goodbye and flied off. Karin met up with her friends and Kashiwagi said she must be at the toilet all that time, and she just laughed it off. Karin was glad to see Kaoru alive and well, and they quickly made up as others happily looked on. There was no other better time for Kuroha to came on scene and accused Hidaka of breaking things, but Kashiwagi just said to get Buurin to fix things up, and led his friends away.

At home that night, looking a merry-go-round music box, Karin still thought about the her "perfect" Kaoru looking up to her, when Ton-chan said she must be lying. When Karin countered with some silly things having to do with merry-go-round Ton-chan laughed even harder, getting himself into a hot arguing with Karin.
