Title: Chou shounen Kashiwagi tanjou! (Super Boy Kashiwagi arrives!)

As the episode opens Karin is racing to school with no time left for breakfast except for an apple she took along. She meets up with Mizuno-kun who greets her, and this startled Karin enough that she swallowed the apple whole, making her choke and cough. At this time a hand gave her a few firm pat on her back. Karin, now relieved, thinks it is Mizuno and can't thank him enough. But Mizuno says it isn't him, only then she realizes it is Arashiyama-sensei doing it, who then chides her for not having breakfast properly. Then he sees Nanako-sensei some distance ahead but is too shy to go ahead. At this time Kashiwagi meets up with them and says he can help Arashiyama out. He then starts reciting a spell to make Nanako turn around, but nothing happened. As Kashiwagi laughs and says it's useless, a book falls out of him. Karin picks up the book and notes its title - "Anata ni mo Chounouryoku wa aru" ("You too have ESP in you") - and Mizuno wonders what's Kashiwagi doing with those books, and Kashiwagi admits he has been getting into ESP lately. Meanwhile a leaf gets blown onto Nanako's shoulders, and she turns back to see Arashiyama and others. Kashiwagi and Mizuno are astounded while Arashiyama pushes Karin aside and rushes to Nanako's side. Kashiwagi says he's only joking when he got Nanako to really turn around, and says "long live ESP". Soon later Kondou speeds through the trio on his bicycle and laughs at them for being slow. This pisses off Kashiwagi and he wishes for him to fall, which he did. Kashiwagi shows disbelief while Karin steps forward to check on Kondou, but he wants her off. Turns out Kondou falls on purpose so he can pick up a 500-yen coin.

In the classroom the trio and Masami are talking about Kashiwagi's abilities. Mizuno believes in Kashiwagi, Karin says it's all just coincidence, and Kuroha has to butt in saying mean things. Mizuno expresses his support to Kashiwagi which touches Karin, while asking Kashiwagi to help locate a valuable soccer ball that he lost. It was bought for by his father which got him started for soccer. Of course Kaoru has to join and begs Kashiwagi for Mizuno's behalf. So Kashiwagi starts his psychic session again, but they all ends up getting yelled at by Arashiyama to get ready for class.

Karin knows well that Kashiwagi cannot locate the ball by himself, so she transforms to help. Buurin quickly finds the ball with Buurin Eye. Karin waits outside school for Mizuno with the ball, but she sends it flying as she is startled by Takuma who pops up behind her. Takuma thinks Karin is waiting for him and stands in front of her. Karin pushes Takuma aside and rushes for the ball, which sends him spinning into Keiko. She wants to be with Takuma more, and promptly pushes him into her waiting limo and speeds for home.

Karin could not catch the ball, which conveniently drops into Kashiwagi's hands. He is overjoyed to see Mizuno's ball dropping into his hands, so is Mizuno to see his ball back. Karin looks on and comments that both are becoming crazy.

The next day there is a long lineup of girls outside Karin's classroom, and they are all waiting for Kashiwagi, who's becoming their idol. He seems happy at his popularity, and even comes prepared for those seeking his autographs, having practiced how to sign "Chou Shounen Kashiwagi" the night before.

During the P.E. time, all the tennis girls gather at the fence to cheer for Kashiwagi, and he waves back at them as he is struck by a soccer ball. When he gets up he sends lots of kisses flying towards the girls which then all are happy, except for Karin who slams the kiss to ground in fright. Takuma has his teeth grinding as he sees his idol status being threatened, and vows to beat Kashiwagi at ESP, starting with a spoon he will try to bend. Kuroha orders Takuma to resume practicing as two girls comments on Kuroha being scary. Overhearing this, Kuroha points finger at Kashiwagi, and challenges him...

... to move a tennis ball in the airtight gymnasium, or take responsibility to the disorder he caused by quitting school. Kashiwagi accepts and starts, but it is all fuss. Karin doesn't want to see Kashiwagi dropping out just because of this and secretly transforms. Buurin finally succeeds in moving the ball with Buurin Vacuum. Everyone is astonished. Kashiwagi cannot be too happy to see it moves, and proceeds to "make" it going places, with Buurin secretly assisting. When Kashiwagi finally finished Buurin is already exhausted. Seeing another success Kashiwagi's classmates throws him up in the air and cheers for him.

Kashiwagi does an interview with Kokubu Shinichirou after school, and an article appears in next day's newspaper saying that Kashiwagi will try calling for an UFO. Kashiwagi once again affirms his friendship with Mizuno even after he becomes famous. At recess Karin goes to Kashiwagi and tries to tell him that the Buurin helped with the tennis ball, and everything else before was coincidence. Kashiwagi then remembers the pig leg that he saw as his friends celebrated, but he denies that to save his face. As Karin leaves she is surrounded by seniors seeking his autograph and blessing.

Kashiwagi puts on a sage costume and starts his UFO-calling session on the school soccer field, attracting lots of bystanders and journalists. Shuuhei wants to go see it, as Karin seeks help from Ton-chan to prevent Kashiwagi from becoming the country's laughingstock. He says he does have a flying saucer that he rode to Earth, but it's broken and he doesn't want to lend it just for Kashiwagi. Karin says Ton-chan is coldhearted and leaves alone.

A pink sphere appears above the soccer field. A curious crow pecks on it a few times which exposes the literally painful truth. Buurin's plan to help Kashiwagi once again failed.

There is still no signs of UFO as the night falls. Spectators are falling asleep and a TV anchor suggests giving up. At the very moment Kashiwagi is going to admit failure a bright white flash shines the field, then darts around a few times before leaving. Buurin says Ton-chan finally comes for her. Kashiwagi overhears this and thinks Buurin sends for the UFO with help from her "cosmic friends," and decides to "retire as a psychic" as to not trouble Buurin anymore.

As Buurin flies home she sees Ton-chan and his craft. In fact he has just fixed it and is on his way out. When they returns home they sees that white flash again and thinks they has just saw the real thing.
