    The Kohima Orphanage and Destitute Home was established in 1973. Mrs Zaputuo Angami, Mother of the Orphanage was single handedly responsible for establishing the Orphanage. It is only her determination and indomitable spirit that made this humanitarian institute possible at the time when establishment of such an institution was not acceptable to the society in Nagaland. . more>>
    Our Activities
    Mrs Zaputuo Angami has started a primary school with the help of her daughter, Mrs Neibanuo Angami and other family members, which is recognized by Nagaland Board of School Education. Today, the school has a strength of 65 students. more>>
