Ssaurabi in Training

    The word Ssaurabi is literally an ancient wordfighting technique, and 
historically is the name of the elite warriors in Koguryo around the turn of 
the first millenium.

    Here in this kingdom, the Ssaurabi are an elite unit that is within the 
Koguryo Royal Army, but under separate leadership. The Ssaurabi answer directly
to General Hatiki, the SSaurabi Elder, and/or King Mhul. Currently, the 
Ssaurabi are each in charge of a specific department (Security, Intelligence,
Tactics, Public Relations, Operations, and Logistics), but there is no chain of 
command within the Ssaurabi. 

    The Ssaurabi are required to be honorable, trustworthy, brave, loyal, 
respectful, and act with integrity at all times. New members are selected by 
the current Ssaurabi. 

The Ssaurabi have unique relations and interactions with the rest of the Army:

-Ssaurabi follow the orders of the General, Ssaurabi Elder or King Mhul.
-Ssaurabi are not under the jurisdiction of the Lt. Colonels's+ and may not be drafted by them.
-Ssaurabi have no rank over any member of the army, and do not try to order 
others. If a member chooses to act superior, their status in the Ssaurabi will 
be terminated.
-Ssaurabi may attend army events such as hunts, games, and competitions and receive points, but they do not earn any of the normal army ranks.
-When some general army task is needed, the Ssaurabi will always work together 
as a unit, and not be split up.
-If General Hatiki is not able to be contacted and there is an urgent need, the 
Lt. General will take over, thus having the authority over Ssaurabi for 
that time.

    As an elite fighting force, Ssaurabi are all expected to be able to do what
needs to be done without detailed orders. It is a waste of everyone's time for 
a commander to have to tell each person what they need to do, so a major aspect 
of our training will be independent thought and action, creating unit 
efficiency and synergy.
