MONTANA STATE CONVENTION 2007
KNIGHTS! YOU�RE INVITED:
The Montana State K. of C. convention
to be held in Billings, April 19, 20 & 21,
will be hosted by the councils in Districts 5 and 6.

Billings/St. Patrick�s Council 1259 will be celebrating 100 years as a council. Council 1259 was the fifth council in Montana and the first council to be established in Eastern Montana.

Past-Grand Knight William Enright, (great-grandfather of Council 1259 Past-Grand Knight Tim O�Malley) was the Charter Grand Knight of the council.

This year is also the 125th. Anniversary of the founding of the Knights of Columbus by Fr. Michael J. McGivney.

Current Council 1259 Grand Knight Jim Patterson, his wife Annette, State Deputy Bob Murphy (Heights Council 8345) and his wife MaryEllen, plus the entire convention committee invite all Montana Knights, of all degrees, to attend the lunches, other convention activities and banquet. However, to attend K. of C. business meetings, a member must be a Third Degree Knight.

Holiday Inn Grand Montana is the convention meeting, lunch and banquet headquarters.
It all starts with Thursday, April 19 registrations at the K. of C. Hall and golf in the afternoon at Peter Yegen Golf Course. That evening registration will continue and a get together, with Mexican snacks, will take place at Billings/St. Patrick�s Council 1259 Hall, 2216 Grand Ave.
. After dinner on your own Friday evening, there will be a dessert social at the K. of C. Hall, from 7:30pm to 10:00pm.
The ladies committee is planning an interesting, fun filled agenda and urge all wives and Ladies without Knights (widows of deceased members) to attend
