| Device #004: Jetpack The ultimate convention showoff piece! I wanted to make something slim enough to walk around in, yet something that stands out. This model comes complete with electrolytic fuel cells, an adjustable rocket nozzle, and double-insulated fuel tanks. I originally used a meta-alcohol fuel for propellant, but it didn't provide sustained lift (for my heavy, fat ass that is). I needed something with a little more octane, so I switched up for good old-fashioned kerosene. With increased altitude comes increased danger, so I installed an emergency parachute that expands out and away from the wearer, even jettisoning the jetpack if it's on fire. The left armband contains avionics instruments (for those important things like how much fuel is still in the tanks!) and a throttle/ steering control stick. I love the results, and apparently so do my friends and a lot of other people. |

| Device #005-Mass Increasing/ Decreasing and Alchemizing System (MIDAS) My first Grand Theory that I presented to the Council was a new spin on an older invention by Dr. Eureka!. MIDAS can increase or decrease the mass, and thus the size, of unliving matter by atomic duplication/subtraction, or transform the composition of materials by replacing atoms with other atoms. The carrier wave for this transaction is composed of PIM (Polydimensional Isomagnetic Matter) particles, which, depending on their spin, capture or release Higgs bosons that are induced from/converted back to Prime Energy. By adding handheld gauntlets and controls, the mass altering effect can be customized according to a predetermined formula of variables, and even primitive shaping of form and state can be done. The Fusion Pak power source uses a unique tri-cobalt bombarder fusion process which can be recharged like a breeder reactor. The technological advantage from such a device is the cheap production of robust sub-miniaturized devices and components, as evidenced by subsequent inventions... |
