Isn't it pathetic how we as adult are so weak to pain and suffering. Maybe that is just one thing that we are spoiled to in our city lives with the world of technology sheltering us form all the hardships of life that the majority of the real world go through... and we just whine about.
this is me... Wah!!!
I have a cold, and I'm a baby about it... and I try to voice it as much as I can... why not, I'm never sick, so why not milk it for as much as I can.. think of all the people who call in sick for simple things like headaches. All the lost time and the lost millions of dollar that are wasted for people who are making an excuse to stay at home to have some chicken noodle soup and watch the old tube until they realize that it is 2 in the afternoon and it's time to take a shower.
Well I guess when someone in the norm and is always healthy as an OX... then all a sudden they feel a bit less than themselves, it is reasonable to think that not feeling 100% equates to feeling like zeros, although that might not be the exact ratios to look at...
But mind over matter, the body is still OK, we just suffer through some discomforts and we call them aliments. Scratches in through become infectious colds. Headaches are always migraines, and those little things that that we call sniffles can now be categorized as the plague... Pain is pain and we all hate to feel this way. This is a part of life... just wished there was a way to plan these things out. I wouldn't feel so guilty about those pre planed long weekends then....
cough, hack, sniffle, sniffle.... alarm set, no noodle soup tomorrow tho...
Wah!!!
