| Ranma Saotome is cursed to turn into a girl whenever he is splashed with cold water. When splashed with hot water he returns back to a guy. All of this began when he and his father, Genma, traveled to China on a training trip and ended up at the cursed springs. Unfortunately Genma falls into a spring that turns him into a Panda and Ranma falls into one that turns him into a girl. |

| They later travel back to Japan so that Ranma can choose his fiancée. He had an option from three of Soun Tendo's daughters: The oldest is Kasumi, Nabiki, and then Akane. The two older sisters chose Akane for him and that is where the twist of the story begins. |
