And how it got started

I have always been good in art and had an interest in it ever since I can remember. My Great Aunt always told me, as well as my family, that I should persue art.. So I did. I learned to do just about anything there is in art. I learned to paint in oils, water color and acrylic. I learned how to do printmaking, paper making, plaster and wood sculptures and ceramics. My mom taught me how to sew and now I even design my own clothes. After college I learned about websites, tassel making, and Ukranian Easter eggs (Pisanki). As well as more ceramic. Right now I am discovering the art of Hand made soap.
I have been told that I have a talent of creating differant and unique as well as beautiful items. I have also been told that I should share this with the rest of the world . So I am, and have been working hard to start up my own store as well as learn more about what other creations I can make. Since I love all art and I love getting my hands dirty I can't exactly pin point what kind of art I like to do best. I love it all. Each medium has it's own fantastic qualities, It would be wrong for me to let one of them slide by without taking advantage of them. The store is comming along slowly, but that is well expected. You can't assume things are going to happen over night. But at the same time things are moving along. If you set goals one by one miracles do happen.

Store Plans

   I have been adding to my Bath and Body line, also known as I m Bwitching's magical concoctions. I try to keep with natural ingredients, Since I love this earth and animals as well. However sometimes you can't help but use synthetics. Sometimes they are your best if not your only option like with the case of preservatives. Though some may diffr, synthetic preservatives are the only safe way to prevent bacteria formation and contamination. Also the use of synthetic fragrance oils are not only cheeper and more economical but they save the life of precious plants, some on the brink of endangerment. I do not test on animals, except for my human freinds and family.
       Some day I would like to open up a real store front as well as keep this virtual store opened. At this time, however, I do not have the ability to do that. I do realize that the cost of shipping is a factor in a persons buying desion. If you do live in the Rochester, NY area, arrangments can be made so that shipping costs can be avoided. Also I do participate in local small craft sales. Look under the "Where to find me" link for upcomming shows.
   Since I do love animals, I am working on donating some of the profits from certain products to help the animals. I already do dontate money to help the animals now as it is, they do need our help to survive so we can allow our childern to witness the fine creatures of this earth. Another place to try are Animal rescue organizations. These poor people need to be noted for they help to save our pets and annimals in times of crisis, such as during 9/11 and the horrible floods around the Mississippi river. Without these people many of us would be without our pets and companions. Noahs Wish and North shore animal league are two great rescue groups who are making a BIG differance down in Louisianna. Please try to help them out if you can.
