"Maybe it was some kind of Halloween trick. It is September, you know," Francisco tried to tell Danny.

"Exactly! A Halloween trick in September? September?! No! It was a vampire!" Danny roared at him. He shhed him.

"Stop before my aunt hears," Francisco hissed at him.

"She shouldn't care! Francisco, if there are vampires in this town there isn't one person they aren't coming after!" Danny tried to explain. Chrissy put a hand up to silence him.

"Vampires...aren't...REAL!" she whispered.

"What do you think we saw tonight?" Allen asked her. From the looks of it, he was on Danny's side. At least he wasn't alone.

"I don't know what it was! Maybe it was some kind of orgasmy thingy! But it cannot have POSSIBLY been a damn vampire!" Chrissy said.

"You and him are both delusional!" Danny said as he stood up and walked out the room. He turned the corner as soon as he came to the door, and walked straight into Francisco's aunt. His eyes widened.

"I'm sorry," he said to her. She nodded.

"It's perfectly alright. I was coming here to inform yourself and Francisco's other friends that I have made some lemonade," she told him, putting a hand on his face as she stepped past him into the room as she talked so everyone else in the room could hear.

"Thank you Auntie," Francisco said kindly. She smiled with her nose in the air and walked away. Danny walked back in the room.

"Do you think she heard anything?" he asked. Chrissy looked at him.

"Did you hear her come up?" Allen asked him.

"No," Chrissy answered for him. She could tell from the look on his face. He looked a bit frightened.

"What do you think we should do about the vampires?" Danny asked. Francisco groaned of frustration.

"Dammit, Danny, there are no such things!" he groaned.

"So sure?" Danny asked. Chrissy groaned as well.

"What do you know?" she asked.

"She has no body heat. At all," Danny said.

"The lady in the alley?" Allen asked her.

"No...Francisco's aunt!" Danny said. Francisco stared at him hard and stood to his feet.

"How dare you say that?!" Francisco sneered at him, and ran across the room and jumped on him. Danny threw him off and sat on top of him, holding his hands down.

"Let me up!" Francisco said as Chrissy and Allen ran over to them.

"Why the hell did you just attack me?" Danny said.

"Let me up!" Francisco repeated.

"Thought you could do your karate on me and I'd just take it? Fuck that! I know karate too you ass!" Danny said roughly.

"LET ME UP!" Francisco said one last time. Danny let his arms go slowly and got off of him. Francisco slowly got to his feet.

"My aunt was diagnosed with AIDS in 2002. But she's been getting better. I was angry, alright?" Francisco said. All three of them said they were sorry for him quietly.

"It's fine, but, even though she's mean I still don't want her to die, you know?" Francisco said. Danny nodded.

"Well, you said she's getting better. Was she bad before?" Danny asked. Francisco nodded. Danny's face dropped.

"What now?" Francisco asked.

"Once you're sired-," Danny started.

"What?" Allen asked.

"Turned into a vampire," Danny continued, "all sicknesses and things like that die. You can't die unless a stake or something is driven through your heart, you're head it decapitated, or any other way that's impossible for a vampire to live. A pool of holy water will burn it to death. A lot of crucifixes will do the same thing. And, obviously, sunlight will as well."

"So you're saying my aunt is a vampire?" Francisco asked him.

"All the evidence points to it," Danny said quietly. Allen and Chrissy stared at him.

"What makes you think we're safe here? I mean, vampires can just walk in here can't they?" Allen asked. Danny shook his head.

"Vampires can't come in unless invited to. The only way we'll find a vampire is unless your aunt is one or we go out and look for them."

"Why don't we go out into the streets and prove you theory, then?" Francisco asked him.

"What, are you CRAZY?" Chrissy asked him.

"What's wrong with it?" Francisco asked her.

"If vampires are not real, what's the problem?" Allen asked.

"But...it's dark..." Chrissy pouted.

"We need some stakes," Danny said, "We need four stakes." The tile on the floor broke down and four pieces of steak came through.

"Not steaks! Stakes!" Danny growled.

"Fuck that! I'll take those steaks too!" Allen said, grabbing a steak off the plate before the plate went back in the floor and was replaced by a plate of 4 pointed pieces of wood.

"That's what I'm talking about. Everybody grab one. Let's sneak out the window," Danny said. Everyone grabbed one, and since Francisco had grabbed one first, he opened the window for them. They were on the second floor, so they'd have to roll some sheets together and climb out. They went to work, taking the sheets off the bed as Chrissy shut the door and locked it. After they had the sheets tied together, they through them out the window, and one by one climbed out.
Chrissy pouted as she climbed down, and Allen took one last piece of steak into his mouth before climbing out himself, being the last person.

They all sprinted through the grass, looking around and making sure the guard dogs didn't come after them. After they got out they gate, they strolled into the street looking for vampires, which would inevitably come looking for them.
