"SHOOT!" Greg yelled at Danny and Shaun. Shaun, Danny, and Greg all had their crossbows aimed. Tseer! An arrow came from Shaun, a metal stake came from Greg, a glint of silver came from Danny. Shaun and Greg had reloaded on the way down the stairs, so they were good. All three hit their targets, but Danny's stake kept going. It went through 5 vampires before shooting back at Danny. He grabbed it in the air and reloaded. They all aimed again as their targets dusted.
"One last shot before they get too close! FIRE!" Danny yelled. They did it once again. The metal stake from Greg was shot so powerfully it went through the vampire's body, and into another vampires chest. Shaun's arrow went through the back of the vampire, but it didn't leave the first. Danny's stake hit another 5 vampires, and hit a 6th on the way back. He grabbed it, and watched as the vampires came close.
"These guys are dust," he heard Rachel say. The vampires had a few feet left. A few inches. Milli-inches! And as they came close, Danny threw his stake into the heart of another vampire. He pulled it out as it dusted, slid it into the crossbow again, and shot it at the nearest vampire.
Lalaine swung her sword up into the air, cutting off one of the vampire's arms before she pulled her sword back and slammed it into the vampire's heart. The vampire dusted.
Greg pulled out his stake and jumped in the air, slamming a stake into the head of a vampire that was edging onto Aaron. He pulled the stake out and slammed it into the heart of the same vampire as it became dust.
Allen jumped into the air and spun his sword roughly. The jagged sword gave him levitation rights from him spinning so fast. He landed in the middle of the crowd of vampires, slamming the sword through the head of the one directly below him. The sword went through his entire body, going just past his heart. The vampire became dust as Allen tore into battle alone.
Francisco blocked a punch from a close vampire with the handle of his axe. He slammed the handle through the vampire's heart and spun himself into the air with a kick in a different vampires face.
Chrissy through her frisbee dagger through the air, the sharpness tearing vampires apart as it tore at the air. The vampire's shrieked as they were being equally matched. And with each vampire that died from the frisbee dagger, Chrissy grew stronger.
Chris blocked a spinning kick of a vampire with the blade of his sword, taking the vampire's leg off. An approaching vampire tackled Chris into the hard cave wall.
Paulo elbowed a vampire in the face as it tried to bite him. He threw the sword into the air and kicked a different vampire in the chest. The vampire fell back and laid on the ground, as the blade of the sword pierced it's heart.
Shia swung his axe wildly, slicing off heads and other body parts. The front line of the vampires were being taken down, but everyone knew the front of the line were always the weakest.
Melissa took her Samurai sword to the side of her head, holding it tight. She let out a karate sound and jumped into the crowd, slashing and crashing at all the vampire near her. She didn't care where she hit, but Allen needed backup in the middle of the crowd.
Rachel swung her sword. She wasn't sure what she was hitting, but she didn't want to see because it was sickening. So she closed her eyes and continued to swing wildly, hoping she didn't hit one of her allies.
Amanda tripped a vampire and slammed the pick axe into it's neck. The vampire turned to dust, but she was tackled by another. She fell to the ground, and tried to kick it off, but she failed at that attempt. The vampire lowered it's head to her neck.
She was saved as Danny slammed the silver stake into the heart of the attacking vampire. She rushed to her feet, and smiled at him.
"Thanks!" she said before hacking away with the pick axe once again.
Ashley Lewis ran over to Rachel, who was swinging her sword without a care. Ashley slammed her sword into Rachel's just before it would have hit her. Rachel opened her eyes.
"Sorry!" she apologized.
"Watch what you're doing! You almost slit Chrissy's throat!" Ashley told her, "Toughen up and look at what you're doing." Ashley walked away. She was right, Rachel decided. She kept her eyes open, tightened the grip on her sword and slammed it into the heart of the nearest vampire. It let out a shriek and turned to dust.
Danny laid his crossbow on the ground as he went to hand in hand combat with a tough vampire. Danny swung. The vampire blocked. The vampire kicked. Danny blocked. Danny attempted an uppercut. The vampire dodged. Danny groaned as he jumped into the air and kicked the vampire in the chest. The vampire shrieked as Danny twisted in the air and threw the stake into it's heart. The stake flew back and Danny grabbed it in mid air.
"This isn't going good!" Francisco yelled, pointing over at Lalaine. She was wildly swinging her Samurai sword, but a vampire came behind her and punched her in the back. Lalaine fell to the ground, and didn't move again. Her spine had been shattered.
"Oh man!" Paulo said, slashing at a vampire, the vampire dodged and kicked the sword into the wall. The sword completely shattered, and the vampire grabbed Paulo by the collar and threw him into the crowd, right next to Lalaine. She was still alive, but she wouldn't be for long. Danny had said to leave the injured alone. Perhaps they would be thought dead. Lalaine had tears coming from her eyes. She couldn't move any part of her body. Except her eyes. She was paralyzed! Paulo picked up her Samurai sword and looked at her.
"I'll get your revenge," he said quietly as he jumped at the vampire. He slashed. The vampire dodged the shot, kicked the sword out of his hand, and grabbed it himself. The vampire then kicked him in the chest and back into the crowd Paulo flew.
"AGH!" Amanda screamed as she swung her axe. She had killed plenty of vampires at the time. She was doing pretty good. But there were so many. She swung her axe into a vampire's chest, pulled it out and slammed it into another's that was behind her. Both of them dusted.
"Rachel, you ok?" Shaun asked her as he slammed his stake into a vampire's chest.
"Yeah! I'm fine!" Rachel smiled to him. She was fine. The vampire that had taken Paulo's sword walked over to her and slashed at her. She cried out in pain as she slumped to the ground. She wasn't dead...yet. She was injured. Her stomach had a large gash in it, and she was bleeding badly.
"Rachel! I'm coming!" Shaun screamed.
"No! Leave the wounded! Just save yourself! I'll be fine!" she called from the ground. No sooner she had completely that statement the vampire finished the job and slammed the sword into her heart. She gasped as her body went into shock, and the life was drained through her wound. Yes...she was gone.
"NO!" Shaun yelled, running over to her and jumping in the air. He kicked the vampire in the side of the face. It stumbled away from Rachel, still holding the sword. Shaun pulled up the sword that Rachel had been using. He twisted it in his hand and ran over at the vampire. They flew directly into a sword fight.
The vampire swung to the left. Shaun blocked it with his sword. The vampire swung it's sword up at Shaun's head. Shaun backed away just in time, dodging the hit. As soon as he backed away, he stumbled into a vampire. The vampire stumbled as well, tripped over Rachel's body, and fell on the ground. The vampire that had Paulo's sword charged at Shaun again, and launched his sword at him. The blade tip hit him in his stomach, and pierced his skin just a bit. He groaned out of pain, but continued to fight. The vampire pulled the sword out and slashed again, Shaun blocking each one of it's shots with his sword.
"GET UPSTAIRS!" Danny reminded everyone as they fought. The way upstairs was still blocked, but when the opportunity came, they'd have to run. Danny punched at one of the vampires. A different punched him in his side, throwing off the punch. Danny tried to trip both vampires, but a third came up to him with a roar and kicked him in the stomach. He fell back on the ground as all three vampires lowered their heads to him.
"AHH!" Danny yelled for help. Out of no where, a jagged sword and a pointy silver stake slammed into two of the vampire's hearts. They dusted, and with that a frisbee dagger took of the head of the last one. Danny got helped up to his feet by Francisco.
"Thanks man," Danny smiled. Francisco nodded and Danny looked past him. Chrissy stood caught her flying disc in her hand and smiled at him. With that, they all split paths.
Chrissy was running out of luck. Her frisbee dagger was rather powerful, but for close up battles it wasn't working. And others were having to jump in and save her. But since the maximum of vampires were now fighting, they could barely handle their own battles, let alone each others. The vampires were closing in on Chrissy. She threw her frisbee dagger one more time.
"Ashley!" she yelled to Ashley Lewis. Ashley stabbed a vampire in the heart with her sword and looked over to her.
"Yeah?" Ashley asked.
"Catch," Chrissy said as the remaining vampires took her to the ground. Ashley shook her head and caught the discus. Chrissy had just been overrun by a group of 13 vampires. There was nothing she could do.
"Chrissy!" Francisco yelled as he swung his axe into a vampire's neck. The rest of them tackled him to the ground. He stabbed them with the end of his handle, dust just falling on him. More and more were causing a pile up on top of him. He kept staking and staking, but so much dust was falling on him. He could barely see. He began stabbing blindly into the air. Then he heard extra dusting around him. He shook his head and wiped his eyes to see Allen standing there with his jagged sword.
"Thanks," Francisco said as he got to his feet.
"No pro-," Allen's eyes bulged before he could finish. He looked at Francisco painfully, then at his stomach. A long green sword had just went through it. The Samurai sword. Francisco looked past him to see a vampire with a happy face strapped to his head, watching as one of the most powerful fighters fell to the ground. Allen's body sprawled on the ground. Francisco looked past the vampire to see Shaun crawling over to him. Shaun was bloody; he had a hole in his stomach, slashes on his each one of his arms, and a large gash formed on his neck The vampire walked closer to Francisco. Shaun followed, pulled up his sword, and slammed it into the vampire's heart. The vampire's eyes widened, and he fell to his knees just as they turned to dust. They gave in, and so did the rest of his body.
"Shaun!" Francisco said as Shaun lost his balance and fell.
"Leave...the wounded..." Shaun gasped. Francisco nodded and walked away from Allen and Shaun. Both of them were dead.
Danny had nothing to fight with but a metal stake. He came upon Allen, dead on the ground with the jagged sword next to him. He shook his head, bent down and grabbed the jagged sword. He turned to the vampires, and with a roar, he jumped into the crowd, hacking away with the sword.
Ashley threw the discus, and slashed with the sword. The discus went through one neck to the other, decapitating plenty of vampires before returning. And as it did, she would grab it and throw it again, slashing around with her sword as she waited for the discus to return.
