|| Till Death Does Us Apart
Chapter 8

At last, 10 o'clock had come around. The meeting was about to begin, but one person was missing. Jerica.

"Is Jerica coming?" Danny asked Allen. Allen nodded.

"She's just running a bit late," he told him. Danny nodded back, and looked at the small group. Only 6 people were there, but 7 was expected.

"Ok, well, I'll just begin. As you may have noticed, Matt and Elise are missing." Danny said.

"And Chrissy," Francisco said. Danny smacked his hand on his forehead. He had forgotten about her.

"Francisco, do you know her? I don't," Danny said.

"Yeah, I do. I'll call her," Francisco said, pulling out his cell phone from his pocket and dialing a number. He smacked the phone against his ear, and began talking.

"Well, Matt and Elise are missing because they are dead," Danny said. A gasp escaped the lips of those who did not know.

"What? How?" Krysta asked.

"Matt was electrocuted. Elise was cut in half by a lawnmower blade. Francisco almost plummeted 10 floors, but we saved him," Aaron said, nodding over to Danny and Lalaine. He purposely did not mention that Aaron and Danny had fallen after him. Lalaine pretended not to notice.

"So...what's going on?" Bryant asked. A knock came from the door. Allen walked across his dorm room to the door, and looked out the eye hole. He turned the knob, and opened the door. Jerica was standing there with her purse in her hand.

"I heard everything," she said. She walked inside, and sat down in the chair that was left for her. Allen shut his door.

"What's going on is that Death is coming back for us," Lalaine said, "Just like Danny told us."

"The problem is that the police are trying to find me for questioning on the deaths. If they find me, I won't be able to communicate with you about what is going on. And who's next," Danny looked over at Bryant. Bryant sat back in his chair as he realized what Danny was saying.

"I have been seeing how some of us are going to die. I saw us die in the church, but I saved...most of us..." Danny said, sitting down in his chair now.

"Since I have been seeing how some of you die, I took the liberty-," Danny started.

"Actually, we took the liberty," Francisco said, pointing at Aaron.

"Sorry, I was too busy saving Allen's life. Ok, they took the liberty of getting you all cell phones. These cell phones are those family packs, so we already have each other's numbers programmed in each. This way we can reach each other faster. I'll call, I'll tell you what I saw, and you stay away from what I said. And if you are already there, I suggest you run.

"I'm going to go down the list and explain who dies at which time. To do this, I'll start at the top. First it was Gina, she was crushed. Then Matt got pushed out the window and fell on the spikes outside the chapel gate. Francisco tripped and fell through the floor. Elise tripped and was stumped by the audience. Allen...he caught fire, I believe. This vision is such a blur to me now. Bryant...yes, Bryant got hit by the door and fell through the floor into the basement. Jerica died when the floor gave way-,"

"Wait, you didn't say when Chrissy died," Francisco said as he hung up the phone.

"I don't remember seeing her die. But I suppose she must have died when the floor gave way. Most of the guests did. Me, Lalaine, and Krysta jumped out of the church just as the floor fell. Krysta got injured. The church collapsed and a piece of debris fell on her. Me and Lalaine fell into the street, and got hit by a semi."

"Who got hit first?" Jerica asked, still in disbelief that this was all happen.

"We got hit at the same time," Danny said. Then it hit him. Not the semi.

"Wait, I had to turn around to see the semi. That means...I died first..." Danny looked at Lalaine. She had her mouth covered.

"So what do we do to save ourselves?" Bryant asked.

"We sleep in shifts. Make sure we're all safe. Watch each other's back until we find a way to defeat this..." Danny explained, "We're gonna beat this. I know it."

"I hope so..." Jerica said. Krysta looked up.

"So what is our mission for tomorrow?" Krysta asked.

"We're gonna try and find this morgue guy that Clear Rivers took Kim and Tom to during the time the Route 23 survivors were being targeted," Lalaine said.

"He should be able to tell us what's going wrong. Only a few of us need to go in," Allen said.

"Right. We also need to get Danny somewhere where they can't question him," Aaron said.

"Already done. That's after we visit that guy though," Francisco said.

"Who's staying up first?" Jerica asked.

"Not me," Lalaine laughed.

"We don't have to go to sleeep. We can party!" Krysta smiled.

"Nope. I got classes tomorrow," Bryant said.

"You're going to be skipping them if you want to stay alive," Danny said. There was a knock at the door.

"It might be the cops! Danny, under the bed. Quick!" Allen whispered. Danny crawled across the floor and lifted up the bed skirt, staring at all the junk under Allen's bed.

"Yuck..." he said before climbing inside. Allen answered the door. There stood Chrissy.

"Hey guys! What did I miss?" she asked as Danny got from under the bed, a used condom stuck to his shirt.

"ALLEN!" he yelled, and jumped across the room at him.
