Shiri looked at Kian amazed. She opened her mouth to say something but Kian's mobile started ringing.
Kian looked at his pocket where his mobile was, then back at Shiri. "Sorry...one second." He took his mobile out of his pocket and answered it. "Yea?" He said a bit annoyed.
"Hey Ki, it's Nicky." He said to him.
"Oh hey, what's up?"
"Me, Bry and Mark are in the pub near the hotel, Mark went for a walk with some girl he met earlier, and Bryan... Well, he's not exactly awake." Nicky started explaining as he looked at Bryan, who fell asleep on the counter. "I could use a hand."
"Well..." Kian replied, looking at Shiri, then looked down. "Fine, I'll be there as soon as I can." He said and hung up. "Something came up, I have to go."
"Oh." Shiri said.
"I'm really sorry. But think about what I said okay?"
Shiri nodded. Kian gave her a quick kiss and walked out.
"Wait! How am I gonna..." Shiri started to ask, but he was already gone. "...get home." She sighed. "Great."
Shane took a seat next to Diana. "Look...I know there's no excuse for what I've done and I know you're mad at the moment but I'm really, really sorry."
Diana stood up. "You should have just told me. I thought we could trust each other, if we can't, why are we together?" She said, hurt. "Maybe we just shouldn't be together anymore..."
"No! I love you and I wanna be with you. Don't throw away everything we have cause of one little mistake... I'll make it up to you, just give me a chance." He looked into her eyes.
"I don't know..."
"And I promise, from now on, no more secrets between us."
"Promise?" Diana looked up at him.
"Promise." He smiled and kissed her.
"Awwwww how sweet." Shiri said, standing by the door, looking at Shane and Diana.
Diana pulled away from Shane and looked at Shiri, blushing.
Shiri laughed. "Well, sorry to interrupt you but I need to get home somehow."
"Where's Kian?" Shane asked.
"He had to go somewhere..." She replied.
"Shane can take us both home, right Shane?" Diana asked, holding his hand.
Shane smiled at her. "Sure."
"I'll go find Sonia and we'll be on our way." Shiri said and went to look for her.
Back at home.
"What a day." Diana said as she sat on the couch.
"Tell me about it!" Sonia sat next to her.
Shiri kept standing, gazing at the floor.
"Shir are you okay?" Diana asked concerned.
Sonia rolled her eyes. "What do you think?" She got up and walked over to Shiri.
Shiri tore her gaze from the floor and looked at Sonia now. "Huh?" She said, looking distracted.
"Do you wanna talk about what happened?" Sonia asked.
"No, I'm fine." She replied.
Diana looked at her. "We're here if you need help with anything."
"Thanks but I don't need any help." Shiri said. "I'm going to my room to get some sleep." She walked off.
"I better get some rest as well." Sonia said.
"Okay...Good night." Diana said.
"Don't stay up too late young lady." Sonia joked.
Diana laughed a bit. "Yes mum!"
"Gosh I'm so tired." She thought to herself.
As she was gonna get up and walk to her room, the doorbell rang. She looked at the time annoyed.
"Course don't let me sleep...why do I need sleep at all??" She mumbled as she went to open the door. She closed it as quick as she opened it.
"Oh...my Goddd...oh my God, oh my God, oh my God!" She panicked.
"Di let me in PLEASE I won't hurt you." Brandon yelled.
"Why should I believe that?" She asked.
"I swear, I just came to apologize for everything."
"Oh really..." She said suspiciously.
"Please open the door." He said again, more calm.
"Right whatever I just want this to end." Diana thought, sighed deeply and slowly opened the door. "Come in..." She said.
"Thanks." He stepped in and wanted to hug her. She stepped back.
"Look just say what you had to say and make it quick, kay?" She said madly.
"Okay...well I just wanted to say that I'm sorry...I shouldn't have tried to pull you and Shane apart and stalk you...if you're happy with him then I guess I'll have to live with it." He said looking into her eyes.
Di's eyes grew big. "You really mean that?" She asked, still not believing what he'd just said.
"Yeah I mean it." He sighed.
"Oh...well...I'm glad you understood at last." She smiled. "But I can't forget all the things you did to me...and you hurt me!"
"I know, and I'm sorry...I'd make it up to you if I could.." He said sadly. "So you really love him huh?" He then asked.
"Course I do, why would I date him if I didn't??" She got upset.
"Okay, okay, sorry..." He said slowly. "I just want you to know that you'll always have me." He said sincerely.
"Yeah thanks...." She smiled a bit.
"You should be going now though it's almost 2am y'know!" She exclaimed.
"Oh yeah...sorry for disturbing you anyway." He moved to the door.
"Oh it's okay...at least one problem less now." She said sighing. They hugged.
When he was gone she went to bed. A question that Brandon had asked was hanging in the air. "So you really love him huh....so you really love him huh...so you really love him huh?" She opened her eyes, sighed and turned the other side.
Next morning.
"WAAAKKKKKEEEEE UUUPPPPPP EVERYYYBODYYY!!!!!" Sonia yelled. Shiri and Diana crawled out of their rooms looking distracted.
"IT'S GOOOOOD TO SEE...." Sonia started again with the yelling but Shiri threw a pillow at her so she fell to the sofa and Diana at the same time threw a glass of water at her.
"Ooopsiiee!!" Diana laughed.
"Heyyy you can't do that!" She got up.
"Too bad...we just did." Shiri winked.
"Great way to say thanks to someone who's trying to remind you that we were supposed to go shopping today!" She got a little upset.
"OOHHHH THANK YOUUU." Shiri and Diana hugged her together.
"You're kinda wet girl." Shiri said before she went to her room to change.
"No kidding!"
Later in the mall.
"Hey Di I heard voices in the apartment at night, was that my imagination or were you talking to yourself again?" Sonia asked, checking out some turtlenecks.
"Nah...this time I was talking to Brandon." She laughed.
Shiri choked on her cola. "Brandon?????"
"Yeah...he came to say he was sorry." She said, handing Shiri a handkerchief.
"And you forgave him?" Sonia asked amazed.
"Well yeah, I don't wanna have enemies or anything." Diana replied, walking to the next shop.
Shiri and Sonia looked at each other gob smacked.
"I can't believe this." Shiri said.
"Hey Di!" Kian waved at her in the mall.
"Oh hey! What are you doing here?" She asked, smiling.
"Just checking out some stuff...so is Shir here too?" He asked, biting his lip.
Shiri saw Kian from afar. "Erm...I think I need to go to the bathroom." She told Sonia and took off for the bathroom.
"Okay..." Sonia said to herself.
"She's over there." Diana pointed at the direction where she had seen the others before.
"There where?...I only see Sonia there." He said.
"Oh...erm...well she was just there..."
