Diana looked right into his eyes, then looked away. "You said lots of things...you were drunk."
"But there was one thing I really meant..."
"Shane, I really don't feel like talking to you now." She told him, trying to avoid it.
"Di please..." He started. "I gotta tell you that..."
"Please go." She stopped him.
"You can't just throw me out...we're gonna have to talk about it sooner or later." He told her.
Diana sighed. "I just..." She paused, then looked into his eyes. "Do you have any idea what happened last night?" She then asked.
"No, but I do know what I said and I really meant it..." He looked deep into her eyes. "Di, I..."
"Oh there you are!" Sonia came in. "I was so worried about you when I came back and you...weren't there..." She paused. "Am I interrupting anything?"
"No, actually Shane was just about to leave." Diana stated.
"Can we go for a walk then?" Shane asked Diana, looking at her with sad eyes.
Diana thought for a second then said "I'll be back in an hour."
"Take your time." Sonia winked at her.
"Gosh..." Diana said. "Let's go." She told Shane and walked out.
"Do you need a ride home?" Kian asked Shiri as they walked out of the caf?.
"No...I don't wanna go home." She told him. "Wanna go somewhere?"
"Like where?"
"I don't know.." Shiri said. "Any ideas?"
"Oh I know a great pub not too far away from here." He clicked. "Wanna go there?"
"Yeah, sure."
When they got there they took a seat by the counter. "Give me Carlsberg please." Kian said to the barman. "What do you want to drink?" He asked Shiri.
"Erm...water?" Shiri said, looking pathetic.
Kian laughed.
"Don't laugh at me! I'm only 19, I can't drink..."
Kian just kept laughing.
"Gosh... give me some water please." She asked the barman.
The barman came back with a glass of Carlsberg and water.
"You know what, I feel like taking a walk..." Shiri then said.
"Ok...I'll just take this with me." Kian gave the barman the money, took his drink and left the pub with Shiri.
"So where do you wanna go?"
"Let's go to the park." She said.
"Cool, okay."
They walked towards the park.
Sonia was watching TV when she heard someone knocking on the door. "Wonder who's that..." She went to get the door. "Mark, hi."
"Hey... you left the caf? without saying anything so I wanted to make sure you're okay..."
"Oh." Sonia said. "Well, come on in."
"Thanks." Mark entered the apartment.
"Want anything to drink?"
"Yeah, that'd be great." He took a sit.
"Oh God...I have no idea what's where...do you mind give me a hand here?" She looked at Mark's direction who seemed to be focused on something. "What?.. oh, yeah sure." He said and got up, heading to the kitchen.
"How can you not know where are things??"
"Well I don't live here...duh!" She told him.
"Okay...I'll look here..." He pointed at the drawers in the side of the kitchen. "And you'll look here..." he then pointed at the other side of the room.
"Yes boss!" She jokingly said.
Diana and Shane started to walk slowly around the block. Both were silent.
"I meant what I said Di and you know it." Shane said in a quiet voice. He stopped and looked into her eyes. "I really do love you."
Then Diana started to cry.
"What...what's wrong?" Shane was puzzled. Diana just sat stood there, still crying. "What's wrong Di?" He asked again.
Diana sobbed. She shook her head. "Oh Shane..." She started but then burst into tears again.
Shane wrapped her up in a hug and she hugged him back her tears soaking his shirt. Then she pushed him away and started running away from him.
"Wait!!" he called. But Diana just kept walking. Shane was confused. "What did I do now?" He thought to himself.
"C'mon Shiri." Kian coaxed her. "It's good stuff."
"No really, water is fine." Shiri said.
"Just a little bit." He went on. "a little bit won't hurt."
"Erm...okay...but only a tiny little bit." Shiri gave in.
"That's my girl." Kian gave her a kiss.
Shir took a big gulp of the drink, then started to drink more.
"Shir calm down..." Kian laughed a bit and took the bottle away from her. "You don't wanna get drunk on me or anything, do you?"
"Hey chill out." She said. "You're the one who wanted me to drink in the first place." She took a couple more swigs from the bottle.
"Why don't we just keep walking?" Kian said, holding her hand.
"Okay." Shiri said wearily.
They started strolling down the park. Both of them were quiet for a while.
"Ki do me a favor please..." She started.
"Sure, anything."
"Let's go back to the pub and get some of that...drink..."
"Anything but that!" He then said.
"Please..." She kissed him.
"Ohhh alright...but that's the last one." He told her.
They started walking back to the pub. "Wait here, I'll be back in a minute."
"Okay." She took a seat.
"Where the hell are they??" Nicky panicked.
"They're gonna be here soon.." Bryan tried to calm him.
"How could they be so irresponsible?" Kerry said. She was holding Dylan who started being cranky.
"I'm gonna kill him as soon as he gets back...no wait..." Bryan said. "Wait till Louis gets here...he'll do it for me!"
Meanwhile, Mark and Sonia have finally managed to find everything. Both of them sat down exhausted on the couch. Then someone knocked on the door.
"Oh I'll get it." Sonia jumped. She walked to the door and opened it. "Ria, Hi!"
"Sonia!" Ria hugged her. "How you doing?"
"I'm...fine thanks."
"Who's that?" Mark, who heard a familiar voice, came towards the door.
"Mark.." Ria looked at him surprised. "Hi."
"Hey, how are you?" Mark said, looking embarrassed.
"I'm okay. I just came to check if Diana's here..."
"She went out with Shane." Sonia then said.
"Oh." Ria said. "And Shiri?"
"Shiri?" Sonia thought for a second. "I have no idea!"
"What??" Mark and Ria both said at the same time, looking at Sonia.
"She was with us at the caf?, I don't know where is she! Probably with Kian..."
Just then Diana came in.
"Oh, hey Di!" Ria said. But Diana just kept walking. "Di?" she now looked at her weirdly.
"What?" Diana just then looked back. "Oh.. hey..." she said, looking at Ria, then looked at Sonia. "Where's Shir?"
"She didn't come back from the caf? yet." Sonia said.
"If she's with Kian she should be back soon cause we have another rehearsal in 10 minutes." Mark then said. "I have to go as well."
"Okay, see ya soon. And call me if you see Shir." Diana told him.
"I will. Bye." He said and left.
"There you go." Kian handed Shiri the bottle.
"Thanks sweetie." Shiri smiled and took it from him.
"Are you willing to share or do I have to go get another one?"
"Hmmm...I guess you can have some.." She giggled.
5 minutes afterwards Kian suddenly clicked. "I have a rehearsal!!"
"You have too many rehearsals, y'know..." Shiri said, looking like she's gonna fall off her feet any second.
"We better go back.." He told her.
"Where's your car?" She looked around.
"Are you sure that's a good idea?"
"Kian, my house is way too far away from here to walk there and I'm very tired. Now where's your car?"
"It's over there.." He pointed at the car's direction.
"Okay then let's go, you don't wanna be late."
2 hours have passed and Shiri still didn't come home.
"I hope she's okay... and if she is I'll kill her as soon as she gets back!" Diana was walking around the room. Suddenly she heard someone knocking on the door.
"Shiri? Is that you?" she hurried to the door and opened it. "Shane... oh, it's you." She looked disappointed.
"Nice to see you too." He muttered.
"Sorry.. it's just that Shiri didn't come back yet..." She told him.
"And Kian missed rehearsal." He said, then looked at Diana. "What happened to you today?.. when we talked..."
"Oh...it doesn't matter..." She looked down.
"Yes it does. I'm worried about you Di.."
Diana was about to say something when Sonia started yelling at them. "Leave it now! You can talk about it later. Right now we should think where Shiri and Kian are." She told them.
Just then the door opened and Shiri and Kian came in.
"Oh my God, Shiri!!!" Diana run towards her. "What happened to you?? You're covered with blood!"
"I'm okay." She said.
"What the hell happened to you?!?!?!" Sonia cried.
"We had a little accident..." Shiri entered the apartment. "It was really funny actually..." she laughed a bit.
"No shit Sherlock! What the hell happened??" Sonia stopped her.
Shiri laughed some more.
"Hang on a sec.... you're drunk!!!!" Sonia said shocked.
"She's what???" Diana then said.
"How the hell!?!? I thought you said you'd go easy on the alcohol Shiri!!! How could you!?!?" Sonia cried. "You know how I feel about drunk driving!! You promised me you would stop." She went on. "I don't believe you...how could you do this to yourself??"
"It's not her fault." Kian defended her.
"And you!" She pointed a finger at Kian. "How could you let this happen??"
"If you don't mind I'm going to take a shower now." Shiri then said. She walked up to Kian, kissed him goodbye and left the room.
"Shiri!" Diana knocked on her door. "Open up!!!" She yelled. "Shane, don't just stand there, help me!"
"I'm going.." Kian said and was about to leave.
"You're not going anywhere!" Shane then said. "You got some explaining to do."
"Bye." Kian said and walked out.
"Damn it...KIAN!!!" He called, looking at Kian's direction, then looked back at Diana. "I'll call you later." He said, and left.
Shane drove back to the hotel where the others were staying in.
"Any news Shane?" Nicky asked as he walked in. "How you seen Ki yet?"
"No, sorry lads." He said, avoiding any eye contact.
"Are you sure?" Bryan asked.
"Positive." He muttered.
"Okay then...I'm going to the toilet." He said. "I really need a piddle."
"I'm going to my room." Nicky mumbled.
As soon as the others had gone Shane went to the phone. He quickly dialed the number.
*Ring Ring*
"Hello?" Came a quiet voice on the other line.
"Sonia?"
"Shane? Hey how's it going?"
"Erm...not so good. You gotta tell me...what's going on with Di? Why is she acting like this?" He asked.
"I'm not surprised, after what you did to her...how could you be so selfish Shane? You were horrible."
"What did I do?" He asked rather surprised.
"What do you mean what did you do?? You almost raped her!!! If I wasn't there God knows what you would've done!" She cried.
"WHAT?? What are you talking about???"
"That's right, you were drunk!" She told him.
"I...I...erm.." He mumbled.
"Look, I gotta go, okay? If Di dumps you, you know the reason...you were completely irresponsible." She went on. "Goodbye." She hung up.
Shane put the phone down. He couldn't believe what he had done. He got up and decided to go for a walk to Diana's place.
"Oh God..." Shiri finally got out of the toilet after throwing up for an hour.
"Next time you drink..." Diana started. "Remember how you feel right now and just DON'T!"
"I really don't need to take this from you...I'm gonna take a walk." She said and left the apartment.
Shiri started walking down the streets when she started feeling dizzy. She sat down at the park. Suddenly she heard a voice behind her.
"Shir?"
She turned around. "Kian? Hey, what are you doing here?" She got up and kissed him.
"I was just passing by.." He said then paused. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah I'm fine." She smiled. "What about you? You're still bleeding..." She said and cleaned the blood on his face.
"Ouch!" He screamed.
"Don't be such a baby.." She said. "We need some water to clean the spot...let's go to the fountain."
"So how's it going?" Kian asked.
"Oh Diana is starting to annoy me and Sonia walked off cause she reckons I'm irresponsible...I can't believe she yelled at you thought...it wasn't even your fault." Shiri said.
"Well...actually she's right. It was my fault." He quietly said.
"No it wasn't." She then said, still cleaning his face.
"I keep hurting you.." He said, taking her hands from his face and holding it.
"You don't hurt me...I've never been happier." She told him.
"First it was when I hit you with the car and now....we hit a tree! What is it with us and cars?" he then said, jokingly. Shiri giggled. "No, but seriously..." He kept going. "What if next time it'll me worse?"
"It won't."
"But what if it will?" He said. "I don't want anything bad to happen to you."
"Then do the thing that'll make me the happiest and don't leave me." She looked into his eyes. "I love you.."
He kissed her. "I love you too."
"This is crazy in here..." Mark thought. "Can't anyone go look for Kian?" He then said out loud. No answer. "Fine then I will... I can't just sit here doing nothing." He said and left the hotel.
He started walking down the streets looking for him when he finally got to Diana and Shiri's apartment. "Oh well...if I'm already here...why not." He knocked on the door.
"I'll get it!" Ria jumped. She walked towards the door and opened it. "Mark.."
"Oh hi.. I didn't know you were gonna be here..." He said.
"Who's that?" Sonia then came. "Oh hi Mark. What's up?"
"Well actually I came to talk to you.." He told Sonia. "But I need to talk to Ria too.."
"Oh." Sonia said. "I'll just go fix myself something to drink." She said and walked to the kitchen.
"Come in." Ria said.
"I just wanted to say that..." He paused. "I feel really bad about what happened... we didn't talk to each other at all after our date.."
"I know, I was thinking about the same thing." She said.
"Although we're not gonna be dating..." He said. "I just...thought maybe...we can be...friends?"
Ria then smiled. "Of course we can." They hugged. "Well I'll go and leave you two alone.." She walked towards the door. "Talk to you later." She said and left.
Just then Sonia came back. "Where did Ria go?"
"She..." Mark said looking at Sonia. "...had to go." He smiled at her.
