"Oh." Sonia looked back at Mark. "So...what's with all those rehearsals?" Sonia asked him.
"We have a tour coming, so..." Mark started. "In the beginning of next year." He quickly added, seeing Sonia looking at him questioningly.
"Okay." Sonia nodded, feeling a bit sad.
"Wanna go to my place...I could show you how our apartment looks like." Mark suggested.
"Yeah...sure." Sonia smiled at him.
"Let's go then!"
"Wait...I'll go tell Di." Sonia said.
"Hey Di..." Sonia entered Diana's room. "I'm going out...will you be alright here all alone?" She asked her.
"Yeah...I'll be just fine!" Diana replied. She was lying on her bed.
"I'll talk to you later okay?" She asked.
"Okay..." Diana replied distantly.
It was darkening already.
"I have to be at the rehearsal tomorrow morning so...I think I have to go back home now." Kian quietly said, holding Shiri's hand.
"Oh, okay." Shiri quietly replied. It started raining. "Argh....it's wet!!" Shiri squealed.
Kian laughed "Yeah, I noticed!". They ran to a caf? nearby.
Shane was pretty near to the girls' apartment already when it started raining. "Great, maybe I'll look like a puppy dog...like a wet puppy dog when I get there, so I'll look so pathetic that she'll forgive me." He ironically thought.
Diana was alone at the apartment. It was dark already but she still hadn't turned the lights on. She liked it when it was dark and raining. She was listening to the raindrops falling. She smiled to herself but then remembered all her problems again and closed her eyes. It was raining hard now.
*Ring Ring* the phone rang. "Yeah?" Diana answered it, annoyed.
"Hey Di...Erm...I won't be coming home tonight...It's raining hard..." Sonia explained.
"Okay." Diana shortly answered. "Is Shir home already?" Sonia asked.
"Nope..."
"So where..." Sonia started but got cut off by Diana.
"Look...I'm not her babysitter...and anyway...she's a grown up and can take care of herself on her own. She's with Kian I suppose....so he'll protect her." Diana finished.
"But...I'm still worried...she wasn't really in the best shape when she left." Sonia said worried.
"Yeah..." Diana replied.
"So how are you doing there?" Sonia asked.
"Yeah." Diana distantly said.
"What?" Sonia looked at the phone puzzled.
"Yeah." Diana replied.
"Di!!!!!!" Sonia yelled.
Mark came to her, looking at her, puzzled.
"Yeah?" Diana asked, as if she'd just woken up.
"Oh Gosh...go to sleep and try not to think of your problems...okay??" Sonia told her.
"Yeah...okay..." Diana answered and hung up.
"That was weird..." Sonia told herself after Diana had hung up. Mark nodded his head, still puzzled.
Shane reached the house. He was shaking from cold.
He rang the doorbell. "Yeah...Shir's back." Diana told herself.
"Shane..." She said a bit sleepily.
"Hey Di." He kept standing in the doorway.
She looked at him weirdly. "Come on in then". Shane stepped in.
She saw him correctly then. A smile crossed her lips. Shane looked at her, asking.
"Awww...you poor thing...you're totally soaking!!" She squealed, forgetting everything bad.
Shane also smiled. "well, it was raining..."
"I know...yeah...wait, let me get you a towel." She ran to the bathroom. "Here." She handed it to him.
He smiled at her. "How can she be so angelic?" He thought. He took off his coat and tried to dry himself.
Silence.
"Sorry." Shane suddenly blurted out.
Diana looked at him surprised "For what?"
"For what I did...it's unforgivable." Shane quietly said.
"What is he talking about? He didn't remember...who told him??" She had all these questions running around in her head.
"Sonia told me." He quietly said, as if reading her mind. Diana looked away. "Will you ever forgive me?" Shane looked at him, regret in his eyes.
"Oh God...he does know..." Diana thought. She moved away from him. "I...I was just thinking about it..." She said.
"And...?" Shane nervously asked.
"You were drunk...and I shouldn't be feeling secure with you after what you did...but I do." she quietly said. Shane looked at her. She was leaning against the wall.
"You...you feel secure with me?" He sweetly asked.
"Yeah." Diana answered.
"So...you'd be able to forgive me?" He asked hope in his eyes.
"I would yeah....but I'll never forget." She quietly said. Shane looked down.
"Sorry." He said in a whisper.
Luckily it was dark, so Shane didn't see the tears welling up in her eyes. And vice versa.
"But I meant what I said Di..." He quietly said. Diana looked at the ceiling.
"Me too." She said as quietly as she could, so Shane didn't hear her.
"So, do you ever wanna see me again...cause if you don't, I totally understand..." Shane then said, sadly.
"Shane...don't be silly" Diana replied. "Of course I wanna see you again...you're my friend...you were drunk, and I already forgave you." She finished.
Shane got quiet after hearing the friend thingy. "I should've know she wouldn't like me..." He thought.
Just then the door opened and Shiri came in. "Hey..." She said both to Diana and Shane, eyeing them.
Kian was with her. "Hey Di...and Shane!" He said too. Shane looked at them in response.
"Hey mate...if you wanna get home dry..." Kian started, then looked at Shane "Well...dryer that you'd be if you came on foot." he started laughing. "I have the car with me".
Shane glanced at him, smiling ironically then looked back at Diana, deeply into her eyes.
"Bye then." He said to Shiri and Diana, still staring towards her. He then went to Diana and hugged her. She looked surprised.
"G'night." He looked at her, lovingly. Then he turned and left with Kian.
"Bye guys." Kian called.
"I'd be fine on the couch!" Sonia repeated annoyed, after all the others had asked her the same question at least a hundred times.
"No, she'll get my bed. I'll be on the couch." Mark stubbornly stated.
"Argh!" Sonia squealed. "Okay, okay...whatever!" Sonia said annoyed, sighing. Then they started to laugh. They exchanged their good night's and went to sleep.
"You just ruined my best clothes!" Kian angrily shouted, entering the house.
"Well excuse me...but who asked you to start teasing me about my soaked clothes??" Shane ironically shouted back.
"Well you're clean...but I fell into a puddle!!!" Kian stared at Shane angrily.
Shane ironically laughed. "Fair play." He then said.
"Very funny." Kian looked at him.
"Will ye stop shouting??" Mark came out of the living room, annoyed.
"What were ya doing there?!" Shane asked him, ignoring his question.
"Sonia's sleeping in my bed." Mark explained.
"Oooooohhh." Kian and Shane nodded in unison. Then started laughing.
"Impossible..." Mark shook his head. "Good night." He said and with that, walked back to where he came from.
"Hey Ki....you've still got a lot of explaining to do after missing a rehearsal and getting Shiri drunk!" Shane smirked at him.
"Good night." Kian got into his room ignoring what Shane had said.
"Bubye." Shane replied, shaking his head.
*Ring Ring* the phone rang.
"Yeah?" Shiri answered as she was nearby.
"Hello, could I please talk to Diana?" Came a man's voice.
"Sure...I'll go get her." She replied.
"Di...there's someone on the phone." She shouted.
"Coming..." Diana replied.
"I'm going to sleep so good night." She passed Diana.
"Okay..." Diana took the receiver. "Yes?"
"Hello...this is Louie Walsh here." The man said. Diana gasped. "I'm sorry for calling so late but it's urgent." He said. "Oh by the way....you got in." He added. Diana was in the edge of fainting.
"Sorry for informing you so late but you should be in the rehearsals tomorrow morning...you're gonna be a dancer for a band I manage." He explained. "Are you still interested?" He then asked.
"Sure do!" Diana gasped again. Then realized what she'd said. "I mean....of course I am...where do I have to be?!" She excitedly asked. He explained everything to her and they hung up. "Oh my Gosh.....Oh my Gosshhhh!!!" she was jumping up and down. She run to Shiri's room and shook her. "Shir....Oh My God!!! Wake up!!!" She shook her. "Oh my Goooodddd!!!!!!" She yelled.
"What?" Shiri asked half asleep.
"I got it...I'm gonna be a dancer for a band!!!!!" She squealed.
Though she didn't understand a thing she replied "Great...now will you let me sleep??"
Diana was like in 7th heaven. "Wwoooooww!!!!" She excitedly yelled. She ran around the room. "Erm....erm...RIA!!!!" She went to the phone and dialed her number.
Ria answered in a sleepy voice. "Ria!!!!!!!" Diana shouted. Ria jumped.
"Di?...what is it?" She asked, surprised.
"I'm gonna be a dancer for a band!!!!!!" She shouted.
"Wow, great!!" Now Ria got excited too.
"Will you come to the rehearsal with me tomorrow?!" Diana asked.
"Sure I will!"
They arranged it all. "Okay...so come here tomorrow morning! Bye!" Diana said.
"Sweet dreams!" Ria said.
*Ring Ring* Sonia's mobile rang. "What??...what is it with me and phones at night??" She thought.
"Yeah??" She shouted in the phone.
Shane, who was in the room, next to her came in. "What's wrong?" He asked.
"I'm...gonna be...a dancer...for a band...wow!!!!!!!" Diana yelled into the phone.
Sonia threw the phone on the bed. Shane looked at her, puzzled. Sonia answered then. "Di?....calm down!" She said.
Shane grew worried. "What's wrong with Di?" He asked.
"Okay...okay...yeah...." Sonia listened to her. Then hung up.
"She got a call and is gonna be a dancer for a band." Sonia explained.
"Oh...good night." Shane exited her room. Sonia looked puzzled. "I hope it's not a boyband!" Shane thought.
"Argh...I want some water." Sonia thought. She went to the kitchen and then bumped into somebody, She was just about to scream when she saw she had bumped into Mark. "Don't ever do that again!" She squealed.
"Sorry!" Mark laughed. He then looked at her with his deep blue eyes. "You're really pretty." he grinned. Sonia smiled. He moved towards her and pressed his lips against hers.
'Knock knock'
"Hey Di!" Brandon said.
"Hey..." Diana replied.
"Did I wake you up?"
"Nah...I was gonna go out anyway." She explained.
"Oh...where to?" Brandon got curious.
"To a rehearsal." She simply said. "Now...if you don't mind...I've got a billion things to do.." She started.
"But I just came." He looked sad.
"Well...I have no time, sorry..." Diana then said.
"Then what will I do now?" He tried doing puppy dog eyes.
"Go and think over the fight you had a few days ago." Diana sharply said. His puppy eyes didn't work on her. Only one person could do that...and that was Shane. Diana sighed while thinking that.
"Bye then." Brandon turned and walked away.
"WAKE UP....rise and shine!!!!!!!!!" Bryan shouted.
"Shut up." Kian came from his room, grumpily. Shane came too and shot Bryan a look. He looked like he hadn't slept for the whole night. Only Nicky was still asleep.
Mark and Sonia were already up, chatting. "Wanna come with us? To the rehearsal?" Mark asked her.
"Hmmm....okay!" Sonia said.
"You lazy ass....WAKE UP!!" Bryan yelled as he entered Nicky's room.
"Leave me alone." He groaned.
"No way!!!!" Bryan shouted. He jumped on him.
"Argh!!!!!!" Nicky jumped up, shaking his head.
"We're here!!!" Diana excitedly said.
"Yep." Ria replied, getting excited too.
"I'll go change into something else." Diana said and went towards the dressing room.
"Here we are!" Kian said.
"Yeah...you haven't been here for awhile have ye?" Nicky ironically said. Kian shot him a dirty look.
"So...do ya like it here?!" Mark asked Sonia.
"Yup...it's cool!!" She smiled at him. Mark gave her a kiss.
Diana came with Ria, chatting away. "What are they doing here?!" Bryan looked at their direction. Shane looked too. A smile crossed his lips.
"Hey!" They all shouted.
Ria and Diana noticed them. They looked at each other in horror.
"Don't tell me you're their dancer!!" Ria said, a funny look on her face.
"Oh God..." Diana stood dumbfounded.
"Oh...you've already met them?" Louis came from behind them. "Meet the band you're gonna be a dancer for." He added. Diana just stood there, shaking her head.
"No...way." She told herself.
"Hey Di!...and Ria!!!" Sonia went to them and hugged them.
Meanwhile Shiri had woken up. "Where is everybody??" She wondered. "Ki's in the rehearsal...the others too...where's Sonia...and Di??" She said out loud.
The phone rang. "Yup?" She took it.
"Hey...is Di back yet?" Brandon asked.
"Back from where?" Shiri asked, puzzled.
"The rehearsal..." Brandon thought it weird.
"Oh...no, I suppose." She answered.
"Does she still like me?" Brandon then asked.
"You're asking me?? Look...if you wanna know that ask her, not me." She said. Brandon hung up.
There were some other people on the rehearsal set. A few more dancers and the crew.
"You're so lucky!!" Sonia squealed.
"Huh?...Why?" Diana asked her, puzzled. But she was called and went before Sonia could answer.
Shiri went out for a walk. She passed the same pub she'd been to with Kian before. "Hmmm...why not?" She thought.
The rehearsal was going fine.
On the break.
"Shir!" Diana yelled after she picked up. "I'm gonna be a dancer for Westlife!!!" She added, yelling.
Shiri laughed. "Hey Di...are you crazy?!" She laughed on. "You just GOTTA to try that drink!!" She yelled.
"Don't tell me..." Diana started. "How could you??" She screamed. Ria came to her.
"You talking to Shiri?" Kian came towards her.
"No!" Diana covered up for her.
Kian looked at her, not believing her. "Okay...she's...well...she's not too sober..." She made a pathetic smile.
"Shir?"
"Hey Ki!!" Shiri was madly laughing.
"Why did you do that? We need to talk." He said, mad.
"Haha...calm down will you?!" Shiri was still laughing.
"Please go home now." Kian said, demanding.
"I'll do whatever I wanna do." She hung up.
Kian stared at the mobile's display. "She hung up." He said, angrily.
Diana was fixing her hair in front of the mirror.
Shane came from behind her. "What you doing?" He curiously asked.
"Just...putting my hair into a ponytail." She answered, looking at the reflection of him from the mirror.
"Don't stare at yourself too much...." He then said.
"Why not?" Diana asked him, puzzled.
"You might fall in love with yourself...and I don't wanna risk that!" He naughtily said, grinning.
Diana turned around to face him.
"Sorry!" He then said, a puppy dog look in his eyes.
"For what?!" Diana laughed.
"You didn't mind?" He smiled.
"Course not...but...don't say things like that please...it'll only make things worse." She looked down.
"We'll be spending a lot of time together if you're one of our dancers y'know." He winked.
"What do you mean?" Diana looked at him puzzled.
"Well...we have a tour coming..." Shane explained.
"What?? Really? You mean...I'm gonna come to the tour...?!" She jumped.
Shane laughed. "Yup..." He smiled widely.
"So...what's it gonna be like?" Diana asked.
"You never know!" Shane grinned.
