We haven't come up with a definite schedule for meetings yet, but we're thinking about alternating evenings so more people can stop by. There will also be an Allen Hall chapter of KI which meets Sundays (time TBA) so anyone with evening classes won't miss out on the knitting fun. Stay tuned for next week's meeting day and time!

Our first meeting was brief yet informative. We decided to have a KI picnic on the Quad sometime soon and other events TBA!

Here's the low-down on our next meeting:
Date: Wednesday, September 15, 2004
Time: 6 PM
Place: The Quad side steps of the Union for knitting on the Quad (weather permitting). Plan B: Should it be raining, we will all go inside the Union and find somewhere with lots of room.

So bring your current knitting project to work on, if you have one. If you can get to one of the stores listed on the handout to buy some basic supplies (may we suggest Needleworks on Green St.??), rock on! If not, we have some club supplies you can use.

Come one, come all to the first KI meeting of the semester! Our first meeting will be an informational one (no knitting just yet). We'll be discussing our meeting time and place, go over any questions that you may have, and get anyone new to knitting started on a first project. Here are the specifics:
Date: Thursday, September 9, 2004
Time: 6 PM
Place: The Union front room, where the couches are
See you at the meeting!

Posted August 24, 2004 **QUAD DAY**
Quad Day was a HUGE success! We were by far the coolest club on the quad, thanks to Colleen for the skull and knitting needles poster! If you signed up at our booth, we will be sending you an e-mail soon with our meeting info (no knitting on Tuesdays!). If you didn't sign up because you thought you were too cool to knit, but now really really regret not giving us your e-mail, no worries! We post all events on this page. If you want to be on our list, just e-mail Ariel at [email protected] and she'll include you! And coming soon: photos from Quad Day!

KI will have a booth on Quad Day, Tuesday, August 24th (10 am - 3 pm). Stop by, say hello and sign up for our club! Some of our knitting projects will be on display, too.
