**SPRING SEMESTER EVENTS, 2005** Afghan sewing-up party! Posted April 20, 2005 Here's the afghan plan. Meet on the steps of the Union (quad side) for 2 hours of stitching together the afghan blocks. The date for this event is Thursday, April 28th, 2-4 PM. If it's raining, meet inside the Union across from where Delight's used to be. We will be sitting in the south lounge to piece together the afghan. See you there! Girl Scout Knit-nite re-posted April 6, 2005 Friday, April 8th 11:20 PM (that's night-time, not morning...) YMCA on Wright St. The Girl Scouts are putting together an overnight event here on campus for middle and high school age girls to give them an idea of what college is like. There will be several different activities during the course of the night, including knitting. The campus Girl Scouts invited us to teach the girls how to knit (just the basics). Ariel and Susan will be there, so if you're interested, please let Ariel, Colleen or Susan know and mark your calendar so you don't forget! KI bar crawl! Posted February 11, 2005 Are you ready for the 1st annual Knitting Illini bar crawl? Mark your calendars for Wed. March 2nd. We'll meet in front of the Green Street Coffee House at 8:45 PM and head first to White Horse, then other bars TBA. Remember to wear your KI t-shirt and something knitted!
