The Templar of Steel
Ranks of the Templar of Steel

Here are the ranks in the Templar of Steel. Each member will be given a rank to start out with, and then must work your way up the ladder of success. There are currently three divisions broken up into numerous ranks. More, however, will be created as the Templar of Steel grows in size.

Order of Knights

Council of Sages

Circle of Templar

Only the Circle and Council can promote/demote members of the Templar of Steel, as well as make or change the laws. The Circle of Templar and the Council of Sages will ALWAYS contain five members. When one (or more) members of the Circle or Council dies, only then can people be promoted to replace their fallen comrades. This is often the way it is done in other ranks, but doesn't have to be.

Circle of Templar

Templar: Templars are the mysterious leaders of the Templar of Steel. They tend to want to learn the wisdom of Telath, and manipulate the world, rather than outright conquer it. But, that's not always so. They are lethal in the arts of weapons or magic, or both. They have an amazing sense of tactics and diplomacy.

Council of Sages

Sage Overlord: They are both Warlords and Diplomats. They go by the motto- 'Friends in peace; Enemies in war". The Guildmaster, Alkamn Minith, is an Overlord.

Sage Diplomat: They are the diplomatic leaders of the Council. They find allies, help recruit, and try to keep strong relations between allies and other contacts. Despite their diplomatic ways, they are still trained warriors. They also may be guild informants

Sage Warlord: They are the war strategist of the Council. They recruit, lead and organize the troops, organize weapons, provisions, and other supplies. They lead a legion of men, and often lead their men into battle. They may also be guild informants.

Order of Knights

Sergeant: Sergeants lead troops during a battle if a Sage Warlord is not present. If so, he is an advisor, and a knight for the time being.

Knight: Knights are members of the Order with great fighting or magical ability. They are the mass of the Order, and are called on to do the Sages' bidding.

Informant: Informants are Knights, but not soldiers. Instead, they search for information that Sages and Templar can use. A good fighting or magic ability is needed, as well as stealth ability.

Private: They are new members who have at least a little training and experience and have proven themselves enough to be the lowest ranked soldiers in the army. Soon, they will become knights.
